The Perk, Thursday Evening
Thursday, December 11th, 2014 08:12 pmReno was feeling that itch again. It was the small island that did it, probably, and the fact that there were only things that needed to be hit around here every few weeks or more. Reno was at his best when he got to beat things into the ground and loot them for gil and potions, it felt like.
There was really no telling just what he figured the coffee was going to do for his restlessness. After all, coffee wasn't the world's most calming drink. But he didn't feel like sleeping tonight, instead just sitting in the Perk and people watching out the window, contemplating the passers-by. About this time of year in Midgar, ShinRa would have been gearing up for their tree ceremony, and people from all over the city, above and below the plate, would be trying to make their way to check it out. For some people, that was the only green plant life they'd ever see. He'd been more fortunate, as a Turk. In a manner of speaking, anyway.
Maybe he and Rikku should get a tree or something, this year. Everyone was doing it anyway, what harm could it do? But then, that really wasn't going to do a hell of a lot for his restlessness, either. Maybe it was time to just--
He took a mouthful of his coffee, a little too much a little too soon, and made a face as he burned his tongue. Ugh.
[OOC: Open! Bored. Hi!]
