For a change Allie was actually drinking her coffee instead of just enjoying the smell as she sat on the park bench and enjoyed the sunlight.

Without burning.

Allie had been on the island long enough to realize that whatever weirdness this was was probably going to and at some point. But until it did, she was going to make the most of it.

Ordinarily she wasn't one for pictures. But in this particular instance, a selfie was definitely called for. Once she was satisfied with the picture, she sent two messages.

[Open but probably going to be SP till this evening. But I couldn't pass this up.]

Hatter didn't often come down to the restaurant on Sundays. He tended to save that day for sitting up in his apartment or going to Wonderland or even visiting Alice. But today, he was bored enough to wander downstairs and flop down in his chair.

The staff were quietly going about their work, washing dishes, setting silverware and place settings out and cooking. Hatter took off his hat and tossed it into the air a few times, trying to figure out a way to cure his boredom and his restlessness.

"This place is too quiet! I wish this place was like my tea shop back home," he mumbled, sighing. He closed his eyes. When he opened them, things were different. The place was crowded with people -- wait, not just people, patrons from back home. People from Wonderland wearing garish clothes, sunglasses, hair all over the place. There was music playing and his tea counter had been transformed.

There was still tea, yes, but the liquid emotions that he'd sold back home were now proudly displayed on a long rack on the wall. Happiness, ecstasy, passion, compassion, excitement, everything you could think of. The place was alive with raucous noise. There were people bidding on different emotions, people tossing money at his bartenders.

Hatter stood up, not sure what was going on but finding himself not really caring.

"My people!" he shouted, grinning. They cheered. They probably didn't care who he was. They were hopped up on the good stuff and loving life.

[Open place! The liquid emotions are there, yes, but are pricey!]

Anders had heard the radio broadcast that morning, which put certain ... unusual recent happenings into perspective. So that was good to know. (He'd prefer his sex life wasn't breaking news, but it seemed to be an unavoidable quirk of island life.)

He decided to use a few more wishes when he got to work. "I wish the shop was in perfect order and I had a nice fresh pot of tea waiting for me."

And so it was. All Anders had to do for the rest of the day was mind the till and sip his tea. Well, and listen to occasional critiques from Lachlan -- who had insisted on tagging along -- but that wasn't really so bad, especially since even talking cats spent better than half their time sleeping.

[OOC: Open shop, open post!]

After cleaning up after his radio broadcast (and thanks again for that, King Squirrel) Sparkle pretty much made a beeline for his job. And once he got there, he hunkered down behind the counter with a pair of headphones on playing instrumental music (because if he sang along and some of the lyrics had 'I wish' in them, he really didn't want to know what was going to happen) and swore to himself that he wasn't going to open his mouth to speak unless he absolutely had to.

He did have his rubber duck, though. And if he got extra bored, he was going to pass the time by trying on the stock.

... Once he put on the dinosaur onesie, though, he was keeping it on for the rest of the day. And yeah, he was so ringing it in and buying it for himself on the employee discount. Because even if he wasn't going to wish to be a for-real dinosaur, he could sure as hell stomp around the store and pretend.

[OOC: Open, OCD-free!]
