Groovy Tunes, Sunday
Sunday, May 31st, 2015 10:47 amNew stock, new stock... Jono had put out an order for a bunch of indie rock and alternative albums and singles last week, and they had arrived on Friday. This had been a procrastinating sort of weekend, though, between the cats and then Hannibal yesterday, so while he was always happy to give music he hadn't heard a try, he had been quite content to let shelving it wait until today.
Overall, he was fairly pleased with what he was finding. Muse had a new album coming out soon? Nice. He'd have to put in an order for that, too. And then, because listening to Psycho had put him in a mood for more (the song kind of spoke to him on a deep personal level), he was poking around and pulling out their greatest hits, which naturally he had to pull out his Stratocaster to play along to, and really, it would be a wonder if he got any work done at all, today.
So, that was going to be Jonothon's day, then. There was the NOW HIRING sign in the window, as usual, but it wasn't so much a dire state of affairs now that he had Lottie working Thursdays, and besides, it was the weekend. Who expected anybody to get any work done on the weekends, anyway?
