Lazy, lazy, lazy.

Anders didn't know if it was the yurt or having stayed at Johnny's party too late, but he was feeling incredibly lazy as he dragged himself to work today. There didn't seem to be anything pressing to do, so he was going to put his feet up and pass the time playing games on his phone. Today would be the day he made it past that stubborn Candy Crush level: He was sure of it.

Yurts weren't exactly the worst living situation Ringo could imagine, but a full week hadn't been enough to get used to them. It also felt weird to be around so many new people at once. So close. Getting used to a male roommate had taken a while, but this was a whole different thing.

Fortunately, there were some things that always served to take Ringo's mind off of any weird thing going on her life. The fact that the afternoon was nice and cool, with clouds obscuring the sun, and that there was practically no wind made for a nearly perfect environment to work on height. No chance of accidentally catching a flash of sunlight at the wrong time to ruin a landing, and no wind to make it tricky to predict where that landing would take place.

With such appropriate weather, that's what Ringo was working on. Long run-ups to maximize speed, hitting improvised ramps, or just wall-riding to point that speed up, and then full-power vertical launches. Twisting and flipping through the air, straining to eke out that last little bit of height before succumbing to gravity and plummeting back toward the ground to land and do it all over again.

The terrain wasn't really perfect for the exercise, as the available launch points were only so good, but Ringo was steadily gaining a foot or two as she found the best ones, and locked down the right sequences of tricks to make the most of them. She was up to nearly 25 feet of height beyond the tallest warehouse roofs, shifting her center of gravity with carefully controlled spins at the top of each arc to prolong that perfect feeling of weightless flight before surrendering to the inevitability of gravity.

[ooc: Open for anyone who wants to swing by, or spot Ringo's antics and then swing by. Or whatever!]
