Since York mostly stuck to himself he hadn't actually noticed the lack of people in town. Though if he really thought about it he would have realized there were less people in line at the Perk when he went to grab a coffee for his Jamesons.

He wasn't really expecting customers today so he was busy browsing the internet for Halloween costumes.

Another break week, another almost unbearably quiet week in Fandom punctuated only by the occasional mail delivery and the occasional batch of pictures of dinosaurs that Cosette kept sending to Éponine's phone.

At least it was an opportunity to sit on the front steps of the post office with a nice hot cup of coffee and a book, alternating her time between reading and people-watching. Éponine couldn't really argue with that.
