The busboy had apparently finally managed to go out to see the new Space Battles movie over the weekend, which meant that now the dishwasher and the cook could finally have the extremely loud, spoiler-filled debate they'd been hinting around for the last week and a half. Eliot put up with it for about half an hour before he finally stormed into the kitchen.

"First of all, the two of you are both arguing the same side. Second, the whole point of 'shipping' is that you can put together whoever you damn well please. And lastly, in the last act they were obviously --"

"Hey!" The waitstaff stood in the doorway of the kitchen en masse, all glaring at Eliot. "Shirley hasn't seen it yet!"
