Jessica didn't have any proof that some of the troopers had started celebrating the new year early, but she did notice that when a group of them were hanging into each other and singng Auld Lang Syne, they weren't in key or harmony. So she made sure the weapons were safely locked away and decided to keep an eye on them.

And put on headphones so she didn't have to listen to the singing.
