Around Town, Wednesday

It was Faith's first shift working for the post office, and it couldn't be more different from working as a Runner.

She had all day to deliver this stuff! All day! And she picked up the full day's worth of mail all at once, and it was heavy, which meant she couldn't do some of her favorite stunts while she was weighed down by it. Maybe in the afternoon it would be lighter and she'd have more freedom to jump and spin around.

In the meantime, she had a somewhat bemused, slightly cross expression on her face as she walked through town delivering packages. She was bored.

Groovy Tunes, Wednesday

Last Wednesday had been quiet, in the sense that the CD player hadn't played music that was painful to her ears. Today was quiet too.

Very quiet. In fact there was no music being played at all. No CDs, no keyboards, nothing. Was this punishment for her previous complaints. Lucille quickly became quite bored. It would also be a bad day for sales, no doubt.

When you were a little tired in the early evening, the smart move was definitely to get coffee then, right?

Good, because that's what Kitty was doing, enjoying a pumpkin spice latte because it was fall enough for her. Also, people-watching a little. After all, maybe she'd see someone she could tease about their teenage hair. It didn't matter that her own hadn't been great, other people had had worse.
