Magic Box, Sunday, 11/20

It was a normal day in the shop for Anders, though he'd paid enough attention the last few days to know it wasn't so normal for half his friends. (He wasn't sure why he'd gotten out of turning into his smaller self this time around, but he was grateful for it.)

He made some half-hearted efforts to child-proof the shop, then put a display of Barry Plodder books in the window so he'd be able to sell something if any non-magical kids wandered in. He rather hoped they would; seeing his friends as small children would make the day less boring, and seemed likely to be a good source for laughs and/or blackmail material.

Rey was still her normal age because holy jossing if not, but she was sort of enjoying the weekend. Because there'd been a couple toys that had been dropped off to "fix," and it was adorable.

Everyone had just better be back to normal tomorrow, though, or this was going to get weird.

Luke's, Sunday

Kanan had been feeling smug this weekend, thankful that he'd managed to avoid another weekend answering to Caleb while so many other people were running around with scraped knees and snotty noses. He hadn't realized that maybe he hadn't completely dodged that blaster bolt until he showed up to work and the kitchen staff, for the most part, just barely came up to his knees.

Younglings. The kitchen was full of younglings.

Kanan gave a put-upon sigh as he pulled out the specials board.

Today's Specials:
Peanut butter or Cheez Whiz Sammiches
Apple or Orange Slices
Chocolate Milk or Apple Juice

Kanan would be in and out of the kitchen all day himself. He was the only one who could reach the counter. Or use the knives. Or the stove. But the kids were allowed to make the 'sammiches' all by themselves. They'd probably insist on cutting the crusts off.

How was this his life?

Sunday, outside, WHO KNOWS WHERE? (Around town)

Yesterday, Shiemi had stayed in the strange room she'd woken in. But today there was something funny-looking growing on one of the plants, so Shiemi had decided to take it to her gramma to figure out what it was. Because Shiemi's gramma knew everything about flowers and plants and she'd surely be able to make it better if it was sick!

But this wasn't True Cross, and while Shiemi wasn't really very scared, she didn't remember how she got here or where home was. And she'd been carrying the plant for a long time now and it was awfully heav... "Oooh!" Shiemi ran quickly to a small patch of wildflowers, setting down her plant to get a closer look. "Pretty! Ah!" She espied more a few feet away and rushed over, reaching for a stick to poke at the small patch of colour. "Those are yarrow, right? Ano... what are they good for, again?" She looked up, thinking... and saw a small patch of purple in the distance. "Oooooooh!"

And so on.

Which is why there is a lonely potted plant sitting in the middle of... somewhere and a tiny blonde girl in a rather untidy kimono running around poking at plants and flowers.
