So. It was Raven's first ever shift at Groovy Tunes. Her first job as a full-fledged adult type person.

She was absolutely going to end up pacing through the aisles by about halfway through the day. This store had never seemed so small, before.

In the meantime, though, she was raring to go. The stereo system was cooperating -- by, you know, acting like a normal stereo system -- so she loaded it up with some of the bands and musicians Misfit had given her such weird looks for not knowing. P!nk was first, then Fleetwood Mac, finishing off with Cyndi Lauper.

She liked them better when Misfit sang them.

Needful Things, All Day Tuesday

Ghanima had thought long and hard about her options for this semester before declining to teach and taking a few weeks break on Dune. But now she was back in Fandom, and ready to dig in to her latest project.

Too often Fandom let its traumas leave permanent scars. Visual reminders of the harm done to the residents of the island. And, to be perfectly honest, Ghanima was quite done with that nonsense.

The door to Needful Things was flung open, and Ghanima was directing some of the staff that had elected to come with her from Dune in moving things around, repairing the door and windows and cleaning out the grime and dust. Leland Gaunt would not have a legacy on this island. And besides, Ghanima knew far more about antiquities than a demon with delusions of grandeur.

For the first time in years, Needful Things was open, although beware the Fremen woman on a mission.
