Jono was actually in a good mood today. Yes, even Jono was aware of how weird that was. But he wasn't going to let a little thing like a good mood get in the way of listening to angry music. It just meant that it was entirely possible that he was going to end up pulling a guitar down off the wall and playing along, today. The Clash was playing loudly on the stereo and everything was coming up Jonothon, dammit.

Hell, there was even a little kitten romping around his heels, attempting to capture and destroy his shoelaces. Jono let her keep that up. After all, Joni deserved to have a good day for no particular reason, too.

Jalian had shown up and called back the Doorway's last probe, then set that and the waiting ones aside and started taking the thing apart. Not completely, but enough that she could carry it. She had an idea she'd need it later.

And if anybody needed anything fixed, she could probably find time for that. At some point.

Yeah, someone had decided tonight's theme was going to be neon. And that person was Mike. He didn't even have any real reason for it – apart from maybe missing the glow of neon lettering in the night. He didn't know. His moods were all kinds of random, lately.

Just not in a bad way, for the most part. And for that, he was glad.

Caritas was open for business.

The Devil's Nest was open again tonight. The DJ had decided to go with Beyoncé's greatest hits tonight, which Eric, for once, wasn't objecting to. A DJ that would live through the weekend: would wonders never cease?

Eric was in his usual corner, Tiny was behind the bar, and "All the Single Ladies" was blasting at just shy of earsplitting. Come on in, everyone.
