The Valentine's Day countdown in the window read 6 today, and orders had started coming in, so Peter was putting together bouquets and ordering more roses and carnations.

There was a request in the mail, so he read the info and then put up another sign, reminding people to Support the school - order flowers through Student Council!

Then he spent an hour carefully inspecting the cut flowers to make sure that whatever had gotten into the dahlias hadn't spread.

And since Shiemi had left information on the language of flowers, he looked into bouquets he could make that were pretty and said something. Why not?

Lucille missed the Silence, but the strange creature seemed to be hiding or had disappeared altogether. She could even have put up with the annoying blue men. The reason for this was that the stereo was playing horrible music. Then there was this food smell.

This was not a good day.
