Jalian was still tweaking her Doorway, and if she were honest with herself, maybe dithering a bit. She needed to return and stop Armageddon, but she was in no hurry to subject herself to that backwards skip again, or to the long job ahead.

So instead she was doing everything she could to improve and enhance it with knowledge from this timeline and everything JARVIS could tell her about others.

She made a few more tweaks, then stepped back and cycled the power. "How's that, JARVIS?"

Groovy Tunes, Saturday

Jono was in a pretty secent mood, all things considered. He was human shaped this weekend, which helped with that somewhat. The stereo was cooperating with him, which was always a win. And Joni had tagged along with him on his way to work, settled cozily into one of the deep pockets of his long coat.

So, of course, he was playing Joni Mitchell music on the stereo while it was willing to play along, and he was following along on his guitar while Joni stalked his boot lace.

It was a nice, laid-back Saturday complete with bonus cat. He'd take it.

Caritas, Saturday Evening

Today, Caritas had received an interesting shipment today: a crate of all kinds of weird beers. So, that was what Mike was doing tonight.

Marveling at the beers and setting them on display in case anyone wanted to try one.

"Hey Tino, you want to take a crack at a the beard beer?"

Interestingly enough, Tino did not.
