The Park, Thursday Afternoon

In the wake of all of that shark mess, Kanan hadn't really had much chance to get out to the park, ignite his lightsaber, and run through forms. In fairness, he'd still be perfectly happy if he was standing in the park with his singed broomstick running through forms, but at this point if he were to try that again and get caught by Eliot, he'd never live it down.

Besides, Fandom was safe. Relatively safe. Comparatively safe, barring another Sith Lord finding his way to the island in the middle of practicing his Soresu, and Kanan was going to have to wrap his head around that eventually. What better way to start than by bulldozing himself into actually acting like the Jedi he'd been raised to be, igniting his lightsaber, and training?

Don't answer that. He was sure there were better ways about it. At the moment, he didn't much care.

The Perk, Thursday Morning

The town hadn't changed much since Karolina had last lived here.

Except for all the shark damage that was still being taken care of. When she'd arrived on Sunday, it had been pretty upsetting to see so many buildings having taken such a hit. Even with all the dramatic stuff that had happened on Fandom during her high school years, she didn't really remember seeing such lasting impact before.

But everything was being rebuilt, and life went on. Could've been worse.

Amd for the sake of her morning coffee, she was glad that The Perk seemed to have escaped the sharkicane relatively unscathed. She took a seat at a table by the window, and got out a notebook and a pen. It was time for her to sketchs out some plans of action on what she intended to do now that she was working at the school.

... Or it might've been time to people watch through the window, too. It was good to be back.
