Covent Garden Flowers, Wednesday

With all the plants around the place, the entire store was very green.

So Peter might be forgiven for missing the gremlin until he was nearly on top of it.

He stepped back and looked at it, eyes narrowed and hands up ready with a spell or just fists.

The gremlin hissed and took a gunslinger stance.

Which, all told, was just sort of adorable.

"What are you up to?" Peter asked it suspiciously. "Don't try messing with the arrangements unless you plan on helping make more."

Peter was sorry, Valentine's Day orders. Some of you were going to get...interesting bouquets. The gremlin seemed perfectly happy making its own arrangements, and letting it do so seemed like the easiest course of action.

The flower shop was open! Mind the help.

Clothes Over Bros- Wednesday

Brooke was readying the shop for Valentine’s Day. She didn’t do much in the way of decorations, but she liked to let her clothes be the stars. So she was spending some time putting lingerie on the mannequins in the window.

And if some of those mannequins were arranged in compromising positions, look, it paid to show what the clothes looked like in action, sort of.

Also it was fun to see how creative she could get.

Groovy Tunes, Wednesday

Since there were no creatures of any kind in the shop today and the stereo was behaving, Breq decided to continue working her way through the CD-collection. That was until she realized that she hadn't played anything from the smaller vinyl record collection. Or that box of unlabeled cassettes.

The unlabeled cassettes were odd. They contained voices speaking in strange languages, occasionally backwards. Eventually small, glowing spiders formed a perfect circle around the cassette player. At this point Breq thought it best to turn it off and play CDs instead.
