Okay. No snow, no pollen, no kids... Just a normal day on the island. Sparkle didn't entirely trust it, but that wasn't stopping him from coming in to work today with an armload of reference materials or anything. Their final projects were going to be due before long in the course he was taking on the mainland, and he'd been inspired over the weekend to take his 'unlikely setting' designs in a somewhat different direction than he'd originally planned.

Did he have any idea if embracing a 'sparkly desert garb' aesthetic was going to work? Nope. Was it going to hurt even more if that desert garb was going to be for a hypothetical production of Robin Hood? Well, there was no harm in sketching it in between customers, anyway.

Pick Your Poison was open, and it smelled faintly of cactus bloom and progress.
