Miguel had had to dodge a few happy birds on the way in, and he was staying entirely in Fandom until he could actually face Morph again after last week, but otherwise his day was going pretty well.

Until he walked into the kitchen and saw the staff with flower crowns, numerous leis, corsages, and boutonnieres.

"Some people have allergies, you know."

Apparently they were determined to celebrate Spring.

Amaya wasn't quite sure what had gotten into all the happy birds and critters out there, but she did know it didn't bother her as much as stuff like that usually did. Nothing could bother her today, because she had in her hands a stack of papers ready for perusal, a stack of papers ready for her initials and signatures, a stack of papers for the ownership of a parcel of land wedged between the trooper station and a butcher shop.

And it turned out Apu was a notary public, too All she needed to do was check the small print (best not let a situation that lead her here in the first place be hidden between the lines, after all), and she'd be that much closer to getting her forge.

Yeah, it was a very good day.

Love was in the air again today, but fortunately not in a sex pollen-y way. Instead, the weather was clear and perfect, and there were doves and lovebirds perched in all of the trees, singing. The occasional alot, teal deer, and miniature giraffe wandered around in hockey garb.

Weird, but sweet.
