//Went on an adventure, did you?//

The stereo sat there, looking completely unrepentant.

//Have fun at the party, did you?//

Stereo? Still just a stereo.

//Iris give you that hat, or did you find your own?//

The stereo was silent for a moment, and then started playing Party Rock Anthem.

Jono shook his head, and then went to go do some paperwork.

Sparkle was a little less paranoid this week than he had been last, actually venturing out from behind the counter in order to do some tidying around the racks, and then pulling out new stock - autumn stuff was starting to come in, he was absolutely going to be going through it all - to price and put on display.

He got to a box of scarves, and was merrily going through them when he stumbled across a yellow one. Tommy Hilfiger. He eyed it for a few long moments. It sat there being a scarf.

That one, he shoved back into the box for now. He was not dealing with stupid old hurts today. Or this week. Or probably ever. Sometimes, he regretted getting rid of the burn barrel.

Shaking his head, he went to-- bypass the gloves entirely while he was at it, and go through the new boots, instead.

Ah, yes. Boots. Boots were good.

Kanan came in to Luke's to find the staff... not freaking out, exactly, but having some exciting times in the kitchen. Which was an interesting way to find them, really, the busboy standing there wielding a fork, the cook waving a cast iron skillet threateningly.

Kanan had to duck to avoid a mynock to the face when he entered the kitchen to investigate.

"Okay, who let it out?"

Everyone pointed at everyone else.

Kanan sighed.

"Okay, you just... make pancakes. I'll get it back into the freezer."

Welcome to Luke's!
Today's Specials:
Pancakes with any topping we don't have to go into the freezer for

"You know," Kanan said, dusting his hands as he came back out from the kitchen, "we could just serve them on the menu one day."

The cook looked at him, scandalized.

No mynock dishes at Luke's this week. You're welcome, Fandom.

Friday's distractedness had morphed in to Sunday's restlessness, it seemed. Normally, Liam would deal with that excess energy by heading to the gym, but with the seasons turning soon he figured he might as well spend the time outdoors while the weather was nice enough for it. So, a jog around the island it was.

That it was also a convenient excuse to surreptitiously check in on the various stashes of food and weapons he had about the island was just convenient, really.

[ooc: existence of sekrit stashes nfb, everything else totally okay. also, please entertain me, it's rainy and gross here and i'm boooored.]

The books and goods were behaving today - anyone stopping by for the first time would never know that this was anything other than a regular shop with things on the shelves that would never dream of...well, that would never dream of anything, for a start.

Bob was dreadfully bored.

So he was going through the useful books and seeing what might be useful for Norman to learn, and sighing over the fact he'd offered to stay in this place one day a week.

The Magic Box was open!

Okay, it was Sunday. And Karolina had gotten an email from the Dean Foundation on... Wednesday, maybe? And she'd been putting off even looking at it ever since, blaming her reluctance on being busy with school stuff (both Fandom High as well as her own). Which was partly true! But a bigger part of it was that even after the last four or so years, she still felt weird about being on the board of her parents' foundation. That it even still existed was a little weird to her - yes, even though the work they did was important and fantastic and 100% non-evil.

Because she'd definitely checked.

But it was Sunday, now. So she'd made the decision to dive into it today. Get it done before the new week started and gave her new reasons to avoid it. And to try and get it done, she'd packed her laptop and headed down to the Perk, because a nice vegan latte (yeah, with pumpkin spice) would surely make the task go quicker.

Or, at least it gave her something to Instagram while she procrastinated. If she could just get this photo juuuust right --

Seivarden had finally made her way to the local bath house, and had found out that you had to wear clothes in the bath. She had snorted and given the staff an unimpressed look, but given in to the rules and bought a pair of trunks. And people here thought wearing gloves was strange?

The pool was pleasant though. Seivarden leaned back against the pool edge, mostly keeping her hands in the water. Obviously you didn't wear gloves in the bath, but that didn't mean you waved your hands about. She closed her eyes, hoping to forget her situation for a while. It didn't succeed, but the warm water was soothing nonetheless. Shifting a little, she sank deeper into the pool, glad to have it to herself.

Another day at work. Atton was beginning to get the hang of it again.

To keep himself busy, he'd picked up a bunch of bottles and a book of cocktails. He was meticulously making his way through several as he went along, testing them out on Tino when they were done.

Sometimes labor for the hands drowned out what was going on in your head. And if anyone was an expert at accomplishing that, it was Atton Rand.
