Summer had decided to go home over the last few days; the island being so quiet was just really unnerving, and she wanted to see Morty after last weekend, anyway. She didn't really do much, no wild adventures or craziness, for the most part, which she was surprisingly okay with. She got around to planting that tree over the graves in the backyard and tried to ignore the fact that current Morty pretty much told her the same thing dead Morty had about it, but she didn't care, she wasn't doing it for them. Went shopping with her mom. Suffered through a movie night with her dad. Got into a fight with Grampa Rick about some weapons. Went to a party held by one of her old Harry Herpson High classmates that pretty much wound up being a big ego boost because she was clearly one of the few people from that group doing anything even remotely note-worthy. She knew it was kind of shitty to feel better about herself by comparing herself to others, but it was kind of hard to help. Plus, Christina LaCroix actually talked to her. She didn't know if it was because she forgot who she was or if she'd forgiven Summer for hitting on her, but she wasn't going to worry about the details.

It did feel good to get back to the store, though, see what Apu had gotten himself up to in the past few days, and it didn't even bother her that somehow the computer had missed a decimal point on an order and they had an almost obscene amount of olive-related products.

"You're kidding me, right?"

Ugh.

A week spent back with the Exiles had both reminded Miguel why he'd joined them in the first place, and reminded him why he'd come to Fandom. It was nice helping out, but the constant pace of it was a bit wearing. Still, they'd made a difference, and it had seemed to do Zack some good.

And now Miguel was back at the diner for his shift, wondering if he could sneak back to the Panoptichron again.

"No."

"It's traditional!"

"Canadian Thanksgiving is over and the US one's not for a month. Forget it."

"We've already made it."

Miguel growled and went for his coffee.

Covent Garden Flowers, Saturday

All the flowers were dead. Seivarden sighed, sank down on a chair behind the counter and looked around the shop. She didn't think this was permanent, as this was Fandom after all, and even if it was, it wasn't her fault. It was depressing, though.

She wasn't going to throw anything out, since, again, this was Fandom and they were likely to return to life. Again though, depressing.

She made herself a pot of tea and just wished the day would be over. And the week. It had been a really boring week.
