Tank cleaning day?

Tank cleaning day!

Sidon felt it was a little overdue, especially since he knew that Prompto and Summer, lovely as they were, were not very likely to be keeping up with the task. Which was fine, because he did always enjoy doing a little something for his fishy friends at the shelter. It was a good way to make up for having missed last week due to the trip, and it gave him a captive audience to tell stories to.

Well. Any of the pets at the shelter were technically a captive audience. So was it really any surprise that Sidon really did enjoy this job immensely?

Most of the stories were, of course, about Beaker and the waterfalls. As if, somehow, building up the excitement and adventure of his friend's pursuits could somehow make him feel a little bit better about not having been able to do the same himself.

It...was not really helping, but he was going to try until it did.

Syndulla Scrap, Thursday

Eh, the weather here wasn't too terrible, so Vette had decided that today was as good a day as any to get back outside and start poking through the scrap that hadn't yet been inventoried. There were a few interesting bits and bobs that she couldn't quite place, like the machine that kind of looked like a weather regulator, but the dial had things like 'cheeseburgers' and 'ice cream' on it.

... She didn't want to ask, but at the same time, she was absolutely curious enough to try to figure out what it was. Was that bad?

If by the end of the day there was a very localized rainstorm dumping ham sandwiches on the scrapyard, well...

Curiosity was a powerful motivator for Vette, okay?

Wellspring Arms & Meditation Center- Thursday

After class, Sabine brought a book in Icelandic that she'd bought on the trip. She'd made a point of trying to learn the language of the country they were going to, and she thought she could use the practice on this one. It didn't even matter that they weren't there anymore, she just liked it.

Plus, it was a good way to keep herself busy during downtime at work.

Luke's Diner, Thursday

Hardison had a handful of soaps left over from class this morning and had literally nothing better to do with them than to bring them down to the diner and hand them out to people. So if anybody wanted him, he'd be making truly ridiculous little baskets of novelty soaps and leaving them on the booths with 'Thanks for eating at Luke's!'

"From international hacker of mystery to an Etsy soap dealer," Cook said, shaking his head.

"You're just sayin' that cause I wouldn't give you the soap diamonds I made!" Hardison called back.

"My step-brother would love them and you can always make more!" the Cook yelled, stamping his foot.

"Nope, they're for Parker, make your own!"

The busboy just covered his face and finished updating the Specials Board.
