There was a corner of the park, just on the border of the pond, where the disgusting summer heat broke into subarctic temperatures. Any duck that wandered into it became a penguin, which was, at least, Kanan's first indication that at least they weren't being invaded by snowmen again.

The fact that the penguins got around on little sleds and occasionally yelled, "Noot noot!" helped, too.

And, while Kanan had no damn clue what that even meant, he didn't figure it would be so terrible if he happened to work through his lightsaber forms just straddling the border of the hot and the cold. He had a lot to mull over this week. But, hell, at least he'd have plenty to tell Rey when she called.

... When she called.

When?

Huh. Usually Rey would have called by now.

"Noot noot!"

"Yeah, you and me both."

Ce'na looked bored as she sat behind the counter at Wellspring Arms today. Sure, a job was a job, and her family always appreciated when she sent good credits back for them, but what she knew about guns was... not much, just bits and pieces picked up since she had started working here. At least the meditation stuff was easy enough? Turn on some nice music, sit in the quiet for a while. Her sister Tivva would have hated it, but it was definitely Ce'na's speed.

It made her miss Ryloth a little, though. Learning Basic just to get through her schooling hadn't been a great time, and this whole day/night cycle thing still kind of weirded her out.

Ah well. Back to work. Dusting.

Fjord squinted a little at the zombie band tonight. At least, he was reasonably certain they were the zombie band? They didn't look like zombies, and the lead singer was some hairy guy claiming his name was Rob. Sure, he didn't actually know what the zombies' names were. They weren't all that chatty at the best of times. But he settled behind the bar and let them do their thing anyway.

Look, any night he didn't have to tape arms back onto people was a good night in his book. Even if their music was a little louder than he was used to.

It gave him something to focus on instead of the way he'd spent his yesterday with absolutely no recollection of the explosion on The Tide's Breath, no powers, and no memory of Fandom, wondering how long they'd be in port on this strange island and how Vandran was enjoying his vacation.

So, in short, he'd missed yet another shift at the forge.

Sigh.

Sidon did feel a little bit bad about bringing a personal project in with him to work today, considering he should be devoting most of his time to caring for the animals, but it was just that he was so close to being finished that he simply had to see if he could squeeze it in during his downtime. So he made quick work of his usual tasks, so that there may be no complaint that the majority of his shift was spent at the counter, bent over his work, piecing and sewing together the intricate designs that went into the white scale armor.

And while Sidon was fairly certain he knew Link's proportions very well, he held up the nearly complete armor thoughtfully, trying to think of who he might know that might be able to help give him an idea of if he'd managed to make it approximately the right size. Prompto had the right build, but he was much too tall. Nina, perhaps? Yes, she was about Link's size. Perhaps he'll have to ask her the favor of helping him make sure that every scale, especially the white one, was in perfect place!

It was a good thing the shelter was quiet today without much to do, as this was likely to absorb nearly all of his attention today!

Furnado is open!
