Furnado Animal Shelter Thursday [01/09].

Having his Birds with Hats class on the day right before Prompto's shift at the animal shelter was either the absolute best bit of planning or the complete worst, depending on which way you looked at it, because guess who was going to be spending almost the entirety of his time there outfitting all the dogs and cats with stylish new hats?

Go on. Guess.

And then he got to wondering if he'd get extra credit for doing the same with all the birds already here.

Bartending!- Caritas- Thursday evening

So technically this was a community center class, but since no one currently had Thursdays it was easier to bring the class to the alcohol rather than shuttle the alcohol back and forth there. So those who'd signed up had gotten emails to tell them to show up at the bar. Where they'd get behind the bar!

"Hey, guys," she greeted them. "I know some of you, but I'm Kitty, and I run this bar. The class itself is pretty simple: you're just going to learn how to make stuff, whether it's for a job, or just because it sounds like fun. And let's face it, after this week we probably all need it. So. Just go around and say your name and what your favorite drink is, because that's what we're going to be making today."

It was birthday week! Sure, Clint's birthday had kind of been taken up by defeating Krampus and evil toys and such, but that meant this was also a little bit of a celebration for the week.

Which was why when they went out for dinner after Kitty's class, she'd made arrangements to have dessert brought out, which was a cake reading "Hey, we're not dead yet!"

For many, many reasons with their lives, it paid to have a sense of humor about these things.

Duke walked into the kitchen -- and immediately turned around and walked back out.

Covent Garden Flowers, Thursday

So that had definitely been a week between shifts that had seemed to stretch on for approximately a month, but here Octavia was again. And the store seemed to be trying to help get her mind off of things by... having turned every flower in the store yellow.

Octavia supposed she should be grateful it had only been the actual flowers, this time, instead of all the stems and leaves and everything else, too. Last time something similar had happened, she'd felt like it had been days before she'd been able to close her eyes and not just see blue on the backs of her eyelids.

She put a sign in the window (and no one would know why she was very faintly amused as she wrote it):

This week, she also actually prodded at the tea set some, with mild curiosity. But still didn't brew any.
