There were butterflies in the shop. Not enough to scare away customers probably, unless they suffered from lepidopterophobia, but noticeable. The colour of their wings matched the bottles and jars on the shelves, and Lucille let one of them land on her palm.

In Allerdale Hall there had been only moths, no butterflies. She had read somewhere that moths fed on them, assumed that was why they could never be found, but if that had been true, the moths would have starved to death, wouldn't they? Lucille still didn't care much for butterflies.

By now it didn't surprise Breq that the stereo was playing Valskaayan choir music. It put her in a strange mood though, even when she hummed along, and she decided it was a good day to dust the shelves.

By the end of the day they were as perfect as her own interior, back when she had been all of herself, a ship.

It was snowing. Normally Stark disliked snow. Since it wasn't cold and the snow was both sparkly and sweet he wasn't bothered by it this time. The sky looking the way it did was something that might be worrisome if it caused anything other than glittery sugar falling from the sky. But it hadn't. Yet. The tremors had been concerning the first few times but as they hadn't yet caused the ground to open up and swallow any bits of the island or its inhabitants they were also currently not deemed a threat. As far as unusual island events went this one seemed harmless. So far. Safe enough to go outside, anyway, so he did.

As a result there was a sugar-glitter dusted Banik walking in the park with a coffee that had been sweet to start with and was rapidly approaching hummingbird food levels of sugar as the "snow" fell.

Don't mind Janet, spending part of her shift testing a hand vacuum to try and get the sugar glitter off of her. Was it working? Absolutely not. Was this the fault of the vacuum or the substance itself? Remained to be seen.

Anyone following Summer's Instagram was about to be hit with a whole lot of cuteness, because inspiration had struck and this could not be any more perfect!

She was outside and she'd brought Pancakes with her, and, with a great deal of patience and maybe some bribes with treats, managed to get a ton of shots of what she'd come out here for.

Pictures of Pancakes as she played in and looked adorable covered in the sugar-snow falling from the sky.

Powdered-sugar Pancakes! read the caption with a ton of hearts and heart-eyed emoji, kitten emoji, pancake emoji, and, of course, #JustFandomThings.

Ohmygod, it was so good, she might just puke.

Okay, so like, the weird globe overhead was hardly an auspicious start to the day but radio had said it was a snow globe and after enduring the weird shaking and then sugar-snow flying everywhere for a few cycles, Nina was willing to kind of sort of believe that it was maybe just a snow globe.

Also, it was a weekend, which logically went it was probably something silly and not something horrible.

Besides, she needed to catch up on, like, the billion radio podcasts she'd missed and, also, if she stayed in her hotel room for too much longer she was going to go completely spare.

Nina meandered off to the Perk. She did tell Prompto that was where she was going, swore she'd be careful, and took her phone with her, though even with all of that she knew he didn't like it... but...

Well, she was at the Perk, she had banana bread and apple cider and a billion podcasts to catch up on.

She'd be here a good while.
