died8yearsagoThat morning, it was with an almost begrudging sigh that Rosa went about the usual routine again, figuring if the window didn't work, then it was clearly just a thing, but TGIF because that meant that, maybe, hopefully, if it wasn't over by tomorrow, it would be over by Monday, probably.
So after pouring her coffee and feeding the dog, she headed yet again for the stairs to go down to the office, bracing herself for whereever she'd end up next (positive this would be the lame one, since all the others had actually worked out very well for her, if not exactly well for her wallet), only to find herself...
...actually downstairs in her office. She paused, took a long sip of her coffee, and then glared at the door for a long moment because the thought occurred to her that maybe this was the location that everyone was going to be sucked into and stuck in for a while and that would be lame. But she marched over to the door, opened it, was able to walk out and then back in again without being stopped, so that was incredibly reassuring.
Of course, she almost felt like, now that she'd managed to get into the office without a lay-over, she didn't know even what to do with herself.
Sure, she could...answer emails or something, but...
She was mostly going to just play games on her computer and enjoy not being forced to ignore be around people for the first time this entire week.
It was good that she'd get the chance to enjoy it while it lasted.
