Diego had to go back to the mansion tomorrow and grab some stuff before Klaus looted the place, but he and Annie did catch a portal back to Fandom last night and he was at work this morning. Frankly, he needed the space and time away from his siblings. Just that one day was bad enough.

He wasn't doing much in the way of work, but he was here.

Allie came into the bar, looked around, and shook her head. "I don't even want to know."

Since today was the Welcome Picnic, there was always a chance of a new adult in town. That meant an update to the drink special. New in town? First drink is on the bartender.

Covent Garden Flowers, Saturday

With the new students arriving today, and the big picnic, Lucille didn't expect there to be many customers, so she spent the day unpacking and arranging today's delivery of carnivorous plants, on that she didn't recall ordering.

There was a lot of them.

Eventually the window was full of pitcher plants and venus flytraps, and Lucille was wondering if she was going to have to feed them insects.

The Junkyard and then the School - Saturday Morning

Goose had honestly not expected to be back in Fandom after graduation but Commander Walsh had been adamant that he return til things cooled down with the Board of Leaders over his appointment to the Series 5 Galaxy Ranger team. He had been assigned to teach engineering, had an apartment in town and everything so it was clear he was expected to be here for a while.

Walsh had loaned him an interceptor
with strict instructions on not to crash it … to which Goose’s response had been that he hadn’t crashed all of them and what happened on Ozark had not been his fault. That had been mostly true but then Walsh had started complaining about BETA’s budget and he was already running out of excuses to the higher ups about why they were constantly needing new spacecraft so Goose had decided not to press it any further.

So he was back in Fandom … in the year 2021, apparently some time had passed between Goose returning back home and coming back, even though for him 2014 had still been last year so that was going to take some getting used to.

He managed to land his interceptor in the junkyard without crashing it, powered it down and got out, having a look around as he did before heading towards the school and the Welcome Picnic, he would worry about settling in his apartment later.
