After realizing the error of her ways a bit too late and somehow not managing to get out of Easter brunch with her family that weekend (which she actually had somehow enjoyed but would never in a million years admit to that, and if she came close, she was going to be putting the blame on mimosas), Rosa realized she needed to be more proactive and was already putting an alert on her calendar to warn her when Easter was coming around next year so she could better prepare.

At least with Christmas, it was the same day every year, but it was really unfair that Easter kept changing on her like that. Rude.

Either way, alert for next year set, Rosa kicked back with her feet up on the desk to ignore a bunch of emails she already knew were going to be dumb, and pick at some of the chocolates she'd managed to barter/bully out of all her neices and nephews on Sunday.

Annnnd it was back to being cold again. This state was so weird. Whatever, he was still riding high on having an actual emergency last week, he couldn't complain too much about having to wear a coat again.

Wanda had gotten herself some discount Easter candy and was eating some jellybeans as she sat behind the register. There wasn't much in the way of work to do, which was unfortunate, since it meant her mind was wandering. But at least it was wandering with jellybeans. Kind of hard to be too glum when you had that.

Was it fairly early to be out and about today? Yes, it was. But that was the thing about having a really messed up sleep schedule. Time didn't mean the same as it did for 'normal' people usually. And so, with his morning already well underway by that point, Billy was settling in at The Perk. His monster mocha monstrosity was sitting on the table beside him, paper and pen beside him, as he scrolled through his phone and enjoyed some people watching through the window now and then.

Lexi had had a terrible night last night, and Kitty had thought she herself was doing fine until it came time for her to go to work at her night job. She had the largest coffee available in hand whenever she was not actively serving anyone, and surely that amount if caffeine wouldn't make anything worse, right?

Groovy Tunes, Tuesday

Was it weird that someone who was too young to have listened to it when it came out even at her real age would feel super nostalgic listening to Third Eye Blind's self-titled debut album?

Probably. But Rosa didn't care. She was blasting the whole thing today at the store, as she scaled the guitar racks, the counter, everything she could find that could get her up high enough to paint the ceiling.

She was giving it a star scape. The night sky of Roswell, New Mexico, to be specific, because she knew it like the back of her own hand, having spent endless nights up on the roof of her family's cafe, listening to music and just trying to escape her own head into the cosmos.

Once that was laid out, she started adding details. UFOs, of course, and shooting stars. Ringed planets and man-made satellites. A tiny unicorn trailing glittery stardust, a cat in an astronaut helmet. And then, on a whim, she pulled out a blacklight sensitive marker and started writing the lyrics to "God of Wine" invisibly into the negative space.

Hopefully if her actual boss ever showed up, she'd appreciate the now very space-themed decor in her store. Rosa couldn't seem to get space out of her head these days.

The Photo Hut - Tuesday

The stock that Liz had ordered over the last few weeks had arrived so she was spending her morning working on unboxing them and setting up some new displays in the store.

She decided in particular to change up some of the accessories display that she had near the front of the store and in particular she decided to work on a display featuring the coloured camera straps that she had ordered, it had been a while since she had worked on the displays so she was enjoying the process of changing them around.

The club was... a decent place to drown some of his sorrows. As Duke had spent most of the day drowning his out on the water.

Lucifer wasn't thinking about that. Too much.

But he was back behind the piano.
