Furnado Animal Shelter; Saturday [04/23].

The battle had been arduous and challenging, but, in the end, Zora's Domain was protected once more from the dark armies of the Calamity and settled peacefully until the next scourge. Sidon did feel terrible about having to miss his last class this week, but he suspected the students would understand, and he was back on the island to check in on the shelter and was delighted to see that a new cat had found themselves a new home in his absense as well! Good news, all around!

And since he'd had such a suprisingly eventful week, he had a plenty of exciting tales to tell to the animals, who listened with...varying degrees of attentiveness.

Okay, maybe not so much attentiveness on the part of the puppies, who clearly had their attentions on other things, but the cats seemed interested (they were not; they were just waiting for Sidon to put his guard down to figure out how to finally eat him), as did the fish (....debateable; they were a captive audience, but they genuinely considered Sidon one of them and therefor could make consessions for the long and rambling tales).

Trooper Station | Saturday

There was a belated egg hunt going on in the station today. Well, it hadn't been on purpose. One of the troopers had lost their lunch that contained hardboiled eggs and now the name of the game was to find it before the station smelled like farts.

Diego was not participating, but he was enjoying the sight of Calvin and Ralph on their hands and knees trying to find the eggs in question.

Luke's Diner, Saturday

The cook and the dishwasher were arguing today. Miguel did his best to ignore them while he got his coffee.

"Savory is the only true way!"

"Sweet is so much better!"

They looked to Miguel. He shrugged. "Don't look at me, I've never had the stuff."

Which was how it all ended up on the specials board.
