Well, if last week was anything to go by, and the class really was just herself, Kitty, and Blackstone every week, then Rosa was definitely changing her plans for it just a little bit. After all, she was pretty sure both her students were practically already certified Badass Bitches, and anything she could teach them, they already knew. Or mostly knew, with a few exceptions, and, obviously, there was a plan to be enacted in October, but, until then?

"Hey, guys," Rosa quirked up her chin, nodded to the popcorn and beer she'd brought with her. "Figured we pretty much exemplify badass bitchery just by existing, so the best way to really embrace what this class has to offer is to spend a little time honoring some of the great badass bitches before us. With a movie."

And if anyone else happened to show up, well....easy enough, they could just watch it, too.

The trip had proven to Tisarwat that the store was, apparently, quite capable of taking care of itself for the most part, so she certainly wasn't going to put in any more effort than necessary on her part to maintaining it. She did suspect that this might eventually come around to bite her in the ass, but, for now, after having some tea and sorting through some of the new releases and putting them out on the shelf, she settled in behind the counter to brush up on her guitar.

She wanted to say that the trip had also, clearly, made her a bit rusty, but, really, she was never really that good to begin with. The gloves really didn't help, either, but there was no way she was going to be playing without them, that was just absurd.

Furnado Animal Shelter; Thursday [09/08].

With fall making its unofficial arrival with the passing of labor day and the march into September, winter wouldn't be too far behind, which meant that Sidon was going to be proactive in making sure all the tanks were ready for him with the colder months. And a forward thinking eye toward winter also meant that Sidon was going to make sure that the shelter's generator, and the spare generator, were in fine working condition, too. Even after all these years, that mighty and epic battle against the snow monsters to preserve the power to keep the animals safe and sound in that crisis so many winters ago (not so many winters for everyone here, of course, it had been much longer for Sidon) was still one of his most favorite and exciting memories of the island, and it so it was with particular pride that he ensured that battle was never to have been in vain!

And that battle was also a reason why Sidon's attention to proper winterization also included having several cordless hairdryers on hand.

Which did work well when it came to grooming the animals, it was true, but that was, actually, not their main purpose, believe it or not.

"Oh my God, you scared me with that," Annie admitted, startling a little when she came into the bar and Tiny smiled at her.

And later, when he smiled at her, he got a, "Ugh, stop it, that's so gross."

But by the time an hour had come and gone, Annie was doing it too, and smiled over at at Tiny with an orange slice covering her teeth so she gave him an orange, unsettling, toothless grin.

Apparently everyone at the Devil's Nest tonight was feeling fairly inspired by elementary school lunchtime.

The Photo Hut - Thursday

It had been a very rough couple of weeks but the anniversaries were over for this year … at least until it got to December and the anniversary of the time loop and Travis … but she was trying not to focus on that. Instead she was focusing on what she had said to Summer yesterday and that she was going to do better.

Liz was still tired but she had slowly started to eat and sleep properly again and spending the other night at Summer’s had helped, she had even made sure to bring a couple of pieces of fruit with her to snack on while she working.

She had nearly caught up with the last of the paperwork from the previous weeks and then all she had to do was catch up on the work that she had missed out on this week.
