Homecoming Carnival, The Park, Saturday

It was probably a good thing that most of the carnival was set up on Friday night, so when people woke up as kids, everything else adjusted too. The weather was perfect for playing outside - not that a little rain would stop anyone - and it was time to have fun!

The Park- Saturday

The carnival had been a lot of fun, but there was other things to see. This place was strange but also somehow familiar and Kurt wanted to see more of it. Especially when he discovered the park and the playground there.

So if anyone caught a whiff of something or saw strange puffs of purple-black smoke around the park, there was no need for alarm. It was just a little blue boy having the time of his life teleporting all around, seeing how far he could go and how high he could get.

This really was a lot of fun. Kurt just wondered if everyone was going to stay at the carnival all day or not.

Luke's Diner, Saturday

Miguel had wandered this really old-looking place and eventually ended up in the diner. Which he suspected was actually old instead of retro, but at least it looked familiar.

The busboy looked over at him and yelled to the back, "It's one of those weekends!"

Someone poked their head through the pass-through. "Oh. Those. Set up, kid, I'll get you a waffle."

Miguel gave him a confused look, but heaved himself into a seat at the counter.
