As if to make up for how quiet it was this week, Steph had a playlist going in the store today. Nothing too loud, because things could get noisy enough at the tables without her help, just a compilation of space-themed instrumental pieces to go with the Spelljammer one-shot she was trying to put together.

She also had a new stack of Ethan's latest Thaynor issue displayed prominently among the comic new releases, and when she pulled out her phone to get a picture of the display to send to him, Little Bot rolled into frame right as she took the shot.

"Cool, we're just gonna add photobombing to your list of skills now, huh?" she asked, laughing as Little Bot wheeled off with what she could swear was an unrepentant series of beeps. "Well, he's gonna get a kick out of that, anyway."

Annie had a headache, but there wasn't anything particularly mysterious about it. You'd probably have a headache, too, if you were dealing with Maryland weather's inability to make up its goddamn mind.
