Prompto had been expecting to be spending a portion of his time at Furnado that day getting things set up for Rain to stay in one of the pet suites while he and Liz were away for their anniversary trip, but Ignis had surprised him a little when he agreed that he and Gladio could watch the cat, too. Until he remembered that Liliana had a cat, too, and it all made a bit more sense now, didn't it?

He'd have teased Ignis about it, about how wouldn't that just make Josu jealous, if he went and spent all weekend with some other cat, but Prompto knew that that would probably only cause Ignis to change his mind about the whole thing and so he was keeping his mouth shut!

And just amusing himself, as he took care of things throughout the day, with the additional realization that all of their respective romantic interests had cats, and was that anything? Did that mean anything? He didn't really know, but he thought it was pretty cute, and he was just going to put together a nice little vacation bag for Rain for her little weekend away at Gladio and Ignis' place.

That evening, Summer was being treated to getting to hear all about Tino's New Years Resolutions, which had apparently included 'eating healthier.'

This was explained to her while he was actively scarfing down an entire box of cookies, which she pointed out felt a little...counterintuitive? But Tino, crumbs scattered all down his shirt, just shook his head and pointed out that these were cookies from a very crunch health food store, so if it was a health food store, then clearly they had to be healthy!

"Tino," said Summer, "just because something is Organic does not make it healthy."

He just snorted at her and gave her a doubtful look while shoving more cookies into his mouth, and Summer just shook her head and sighed, already imagining the complaints she'd have to listen to next week from him about why his diet was just not working!!

She listened patiently again, and then blew out a breath of frustration, because even she only had so much patience.

"No, look, sir," she sighed, looking down at the notes she'd already taken during the first ten minutes of this call. "I understand you've lost your keys. I understand you had them on the thirty-first, and then something strange happened and now you can't find them. I understand they're not in any of the usual spots. But what I don't think you understand is that I'm not going to help you find your keys that you misplaced at a party on New Year's effing Eve, sir, because you were probably wasted. Have you checked, like, your refrigerator?"

A moment later, Nancy's brows shot up.
