Dean was bringing by cursed objects to store today, keeping them safe in the lockers Liliana had commissioned from Amaya. Dean had been lacking in any useful details, as per usual (because why would information about number, size, or construction be helpful, hmm?) so Liliana was in the back room today, making sure that there were several lockers of various dimensions empty and available for storage. She wasn't sure how curses worked in Dean's world - wasn't even terribly knowledgeable in the art of curses in her own - but she figured more space would be better than less.

Perhaps he'd surprise her and he'd arrive with more useful information than he'd imparted previously.

And if we were believing in nine impossible things before breakfast, perhaps Ignis would announce he was switching to a new, uncaffeinated lifestyle, too.

Turtle & Canary; Monday [06/10].

Oh boy! Were you looking for some good deals on some ball point pens? Then today was your lucky day! Because there was a massive sale of them going on at Turtle & Canary today for National Ballpoint Pen Day! Come, get some good discounts on writing utensils and see the amazing work Apu had done recreating the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, and the Sears Tower all in ball point pens! Amazing! Brilliant!

Honestly, Summer wasn't paying any attention. Not only did she have work to do and caused a ruckus when she accidentally removed a load-bearing pen from the ballpoint Big Ben, but she was also trying to decided if she wanted to go with humane pest removal by blasting Stewart with Atton's music if he showed up at the store today or if she wanted to have a little more fun with it, because she did order some more spike strips that could fit neatly in front of the store....

....it would, however, mess a little with the friendly, welcoming aesthetic they had going on, but....

Maybe if she accidentally just dropped a bunch of thumb tacks? It was nice, though, that she did have options.

Pizza Planet, Monday

It was cherry season, which meant it was time for Raiden to eat his weight in cherries, obviously, but then he'd gotten inspired and thinking about all the other delicious fruits out there, and, well, a specials menu was born.

Nell was feeling a little sleepy this morning,and the flowers weren't helping because they kept humming lullabies. If someone came in and found Nell asleep at the counter it wasn't her fault!

Stark Industries - Monday

On the way to her internship this morning, Kamala had gone back to the manor to change and clean up after paintball. On her way out, she found a package from home sitting in the foyer.

After getting settled in at her desk, Kamala opened it up to find her mother had sent along a bunch of milk toffees and a bunch of her favorite baked goods.

Kamala took a moment to inhale the smells from home before diving in and sampling them.

Work could wait.

Trooper Station, Monday [after Paintball]

Well, at least he hadn't gone down as fast as Skywalker? Steve reported to work grumbling about land mines made of paint and spent the rest of his time deep-cleaning his desk (Coffee? COFFEE? Everything was gross and sticky.) and telling various callers that if they didn't antagonize the park flamingoes, they wouldn't get pecked by the park flamingoes.

Apparently they didn't know the law of "don't start none, won't be none." Steve was happy to inform them.

The Trooper Station was open! It smelled strongly of stale coffee and even more strongly of bleach.

The Devil's Nest, Monday Night

Eric had returned from Never You Mind Now where he had taken care of None of Your Concern and was now seated at the bar with his entire focus on making sure Tiny wasn't doing anything strange.

Tiny, weirded out by the scrutiny, had decided to just not do anything at all.

It was a truly riveting night here at the Devil's Nest.

The Magpie Emporium, Monday [10/6]

The gremlins were fighting. Vi wasn't sure what they were fighting about, and it hadn't quite gotten physical yet but they were definitely angry about something, and only thing that was making them pause was Little Bot trundling past meaningfully. Even then it didn't take long before they were snarling and snapping at each other again.

She supposed that she should be grateful for the small group of them who were just (comparatively) quietly sitting off to one side and animatedly making their collections of mini kiss each other.
