Fandom Island Museum, Thursday Daytime

Steven might not be much for sport in general, but it was difficult not to get caught up in the excitement of the Olympics. As such, he was doing his best to work on notes for the various displays in the museum which highlighted things that could somehow relate to the games. Art that involved sport, things which pointed out which bugs or fish were fastest, that sort of thing.

Occasionally Steven checked in on the progress of the games themselves, but mostly because he hoped everyone was having a good time.

As always, he was behind the Welcome Desk if anyone needed him..

Plant Parenthood; Thursday [08/01].

Eleanor was feeling incredibly industrious today; not necessarily for her work here now, but for her work back home, later, in the future (or, well, technically the past, but never mind). She mostly felt that Mr. Senshi's class, with the work of thinning out their first inklings of a garden, combined with Nell's class and all the different ideas of gardens and greenhouses, really sparked her creativity and determination to finally work out some sort of plan for continuing her grandmother's work. She was shifting through all of her notes, as well as a book about herbology to determine what sorts of plants would be most useful, as well as one on greenhouse design...

...although it didn't take very long for her to start feeling a little overwhelmed by her own ambitions, so she was taking a lot of breaks for tea and hopefully thinking about anything other than plants.

Which was difficult, at a plant store, so she was also wondering if she shouldn't have just put all this off until the weekend or something.

It seemed that Liz didn’t have a lot of work to finish this week so once her emails had been checked and responded to and last weeks reports had been finalised, she decided to try and work on possible ideas for coming up with a way to get new customers to the store but she wasn’t having much luck with new ideas.

Watts had slept poorly again last night, but given that he'd missed his shift entirely last week due to illness, he could not justify doing so again simply because he was tired.

So he was here. Even though there was not exactly much in the way of actual work to be done, because 'here' was Fandom, and barring raccoon thefts and fake squirrel deaths, there wasn't a large amount of actual crime happening.
