Summer had been warned, because Tino had texted her earlier that day trying to coordinate outfits, but that still did not prepare her for actually witnessing her coworker in all his fashionable glory sporting a full-on all denim suit.

"Thanks," she told him. "I hate it."

He was going to insist that she actually loved it and was just jealous and Summer had to decide if she wanted to humor him by sarcastically saying he was right just so he didn't bother her endlessly about it and just insisting that he was categorically wrong in this and nothing he could say or do would change her mind on this.

"Like, it's seriously making me want to burn every piece of denim I own as soon as I get home. Is that what you wanted? Is that your whole goal in all of this? Because it can't possibly be to be comfortable or to look good."

And don't even get her started with the denim beer cozies he was going to be putting on everyone's drinks tonight, too.

Furnado Animal Shelter; Wednesday [04/30].

Distractions were much easier to come by at Furnado. There was always a pretty big list of things that needed to get done, there were adorable animals everywhere, Prompto always brought Noctra with him, too, for Animal Enrichment Day, and now to give Liz just that little bit extra time of peace and quiet without their rambunctious toddler running around. The list was practically endless!

So all his brooding thoughts and flailing worries were about to take a back seat for a while, which was nice, and even better because it involved puppies and kittens and hamsters and birbs and his adorable nugget of a kid, and when his thoughts did have a moment or two to catch up with him, they were usually just a tearful screed about how they don't deserve animals, animals were too pu--

---wait, never mind, he was taking that back, because one of the cats had peed outside the litter box again and one of the dogs had managed to get into Noctra's lunchbag and ate all of her favorite snacks, and now she was crying, and oh no....

For some godforsaken reason, all of the snacks being sold at the movie theater were currently... a kind of funnel cake?

Bucky had no idea what that was about. Ingrid had already made some quick signs advertising a sale on funnel cakes, so guess that worked out. It wasn't the worst weird thing to ever befall the theater, after all.
