Lana got into work on time and in a thoughtful mood. She needed to find Phoebe after work. She knew her friend had to be upset with her other sister also leaving Fandom.

She straightened up the store and sat down to think about idead for cheering up her BFF.

Galactica Point, Friday afternoon

Walter had said he was going down to the beach to get sunburned, but really, it was just a perfect day to hang out at the beach, cool off in the water, and get some reading done - in his case the book on cryptography he'd ordered after Nadia and Pip had been fighting.

He had a book, sunscreen, a towel, and food. It sounded like an excellent start until company arrived.

Edmund was pleased that a shipment of alcohol arrived in time for the weekend. He was starting to wonder whether he should be concerned about the fact that this island made him want to spend most of his time in an inebriated haze.

Regardless, he was there, the island was there, and the alcohol (hurrah!) was there.

Thursday Night

She could have orbed straight to the manor of course but Paige wanted to take one last look at the town she was leaving. She was confident she’d see it again of course, she just wasn’t sure when. Once in town she turned to look back at the school, the way it was all lit up was really quite beautiful and she started to cry yet again. She had to force herself to turn away and keep walking, past the Crowley’s hotel, past what had been Chaucer’s and on until she reached the causeway. She stopped and thought about everyone else that had left this, all the friends she’d lost, Lily, Sonia, Michael, Ben, House and of cause Geoff. She looked down at the ring Pippi had given her and smiled. With a deep breath she took one step hoping maybe this road would take her somewhere else, she knew this town was weird and that the causeway seemed to know where you needed to be, maybe she’d end up with one of her friends, she took another step as more tears came, and another and another. It wasn’t long before she realised she was walking down the road the manor was on back in San Francisco and it wasn’t the evening anymore.

This was it then, she was home.

Rocky Beach area by Selkie's Cove: Friday night

After a great deal of coaxing, Lana had finally managed to drag Phoebe out of her room and to the rocky area of the beach. She'd brought a blanket and some stuff to eat and drink and the determination to cheer her friend up. Or at least be with her while she dealt with yet another loss.

"Come on, Pheebs. This is a great place to sit and watch the ocean - big and flat and still warm from the sun." Lana clambered up the rocks with the stuff and turned to offer Phoebe a hand. "Come on up."

Caritas - Friday evening [Open]

GOB rode his Segway to Caritas looking very well-rested for some reason. When he reached the entrance, he simply handed over a very nice-looking saxophone to the zombie bass player. This confused the zombie for a minute, but eventually he shambled back into the bar, clutching his new sax. His bandmates followed behind.

GOB was in a very good mood tonight. It might be best not to ask why.

The Fourth Sin--Friday Evening

Jarod wasn't at the front desk, but that was because he was in the downstairs restroom, trying to fix the DVD player. After a few minutes, he came back out for a pair of latex gloves, a small screwdriver, and a bunch of clorox wipes with bleach, then returned to his work. Maybe if he put it in the wall he wouldn't have this particular problem again.

Not like a banana, a pink ruffled sock, and Silly Putty were commonly found in DVD players anyway (at least as far as he knew, and generally not in combination), but it never hurt to think ahead.

Serenity Cove, dinnertime

Kaylee had spoken so well of the spot that when Willow and Peter decided to have dinner on the beach, that was just the location Willow wanted to go to.

Willow might have been dressed just a touch too nicely for the beach, but she so did not care.

Alfed was busy checking...the improvements to the foundation on Friday. So Wadsworth opened up the restaurant instead.

The improvements to the foundation were very interesting.

The fact that it could only be entered via the piano by playing the random notes?

Kind of irritating.
