A de-jelloed Jude was darting about the park with a massive Canadian flag duct taped to his shoulders like a very patriotic cape and wondering how he had let the day slip by him without organising fireworks or a barbeque or anything. Well, darting only in name only. He had patches on his knees and his elbows and his knees still weren't quite responding the way they should.

But for now there was a boombox shoved in the crook of a tree as Jude zoomed about, blaring the Arrogant Worms, the Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie, Great Big Sea, and Stompin' Tom, and Jude was singing along.

Yes, even to 'Rubberhead' and 'Tilsonburg'.

The broadcast begins with The Rolling Stones version of "Money (That's What I Want)", as it did last time.

"Welcome, faithful listeners, to our third week of Profits and Prophecy, in our new time slot. Hopefully we won't be moved around as often as that TV show 'Lightning Bug'. Sorry for having missed last week, but I came down with a head cold, and if you've ever seen my head, you'll know how bad that could be."

"Joining me in the studio is Edmund Blackadder, a class act above all class acts. But first up, we'll have a few musical selections, as selected by you, my audience. We begin today with a song called 'We Are the Champions', by Queen. This goes out to all those Argentina and England fans."

The song begins after a short chuckle, and the show has started.

With Miho gone, Becky actually felt a need to rise before midafternoon.

So when noon rolled around, she was in the lobby, sorting through their accounts and trying to remember all the math she'd learned before dropping out her sophomore year of high school.

Weevil checks on the band and makes sure the bar is stocked. He's not at all surprised that there's an unusual amount of jello around. He's amused and kind of horrified at the same time.
