It's no Le Grande Jatte, nor is it Sunday. But she does have a monkey and it's nice out.

Pippi is sitting on a bench with Mr. Neilson, tossing bits of bread to the ducks. Old Man is nibbling on the long tufts of grass that grow by the feet of the bench.

Veronica was hot and sweaty by the time she reached Caritas because it was disgustingly hot and humid outside. She grabbed a glass of ice water before checking the band and opening the club.

The Fourth Sin, Tuesday Night

Jarod was behind the desk, looking up new torture learning techniques for his workshop while he upgraded the Sin's computer security and added a new encryption program. He may have raised an eyebrow or two over some of Goldie's more, er, exotic purchases, but in general it was going to be a quiet night.

Until a news article from Atlanta caught his eye. Jarod frowned. He'd have to see how that scenario played out.

There was a six pack of her favorite beer in the fridge for Becky and a fresh lemon meringue pie for Miho. Not that he had to discuss something with them or anything.

Slurping on a large cherry slurpee and with another large blue raspberry in his other hand, Jude boarded slowly towards the park to hook up with Maia. He twisted and jinked automatically, without spilling a single syrupy drop.

He did, however, tell himself not to grind on the benches. He had a feeling Maia didn't want grass in her slurpee.
