In an unprecedented move, Zhaan opened the shop when the sun began climbing the sky.

The perspective of being there with the light at a different angle was a novelty which quickly wore off, and she set to making plans for piracy for talking to her accountant.

[I am off to work, but can answer via email. tgif, baby.]

Lana got to work on time, but is still rather distracted by her worries about Phoebe.

Muttering slightly to herself in uninterpretable strains, Sister Rosette clattered through the closet in the dustiest corner of the church basement, looking for....something. Anything. That damned, cursed baptismal fount was at it again. There had to be something in this closet that would help, maybe a missing piece that had somehow found itself removed and replaced in the dark recesses of this basement. Hey. It was possible. Rosette was an optimist.

Knocking over a stack of folding chairs, Rosette didn't hear the squeaking of the door hinges over the clattering. She did, however, hear the echoing slam. And a quiet clicking sound following. She stood upright, stiff and wide-eyed, looking through the darkness at the door. Carefully, she made her way over, turned the knob, and pushed. It didn't budge. She tried it again. Still to no avail. She started kicking and yelling and throwing her shoulder against it, but even that didn't phase the now-locked door.

"Well, shit!" Rosette dropped onto the floor with a sigh, cradling her chin in her hands. And then, from the light coming through the bottom of the door, she noticed a familiar glint off to her side. That's right! All that communion wine was in this closet. Rosette chuckled; she wouldn't mind so much now if Chrono took his sweet time in finding her. Plus, it was nice and cool in the basement, so no worries about heat, either.

[[ no interaction; just establishing her disappearance for the weekend. feel free to mod Chrono if you'd like for any church needs. :) ]]

Tempe absently smoothed out the non-existent wrinkles in her skirt as she waited for Cally to arrive at their completely handwavily agreed upon time. If anyone asked, no, she wasn't nervous. It was just an arm twitch. Really.

[OOC: Open for all of your Ching Tai-like needs. Thread with Tempe and Cally is locked to them.]

After a long day at the carnival, GOB was happy to relax behind the bar with a nice, cold Scotch. "Keep up the good work, Tino."

Tino glanced at GOB and wondered if he was suffering from heat stroke or something. He wasn't the kind of person to use compliments, after all.

[OOC: I'm going to be playing in the carnival, so mod Tino if you would like. I am around for interaction, though, if you'd prefer that. :)]
