The Tick had spent much of the evening following a group of Lemmings that had appeared on - and pickaxed through - his bed. He eventually followed them to a cliff at the Rocky Bits, where many groups of lemmings had gathered. Right at the edge of the cliff was a small gate that the Lemmings jumped through. No Lemmings seemed to come out the other side, so it must have been a tiny magical gate.

Eventually, all the Lemmings were gone. And then The Tick realized just how many Lemmings there had been and exactly how much damage must have been done.

That's when he made a phone call.

"Hello! I need a construction team in Fandom, Virginia, as soon as you can, chum! ... Time is the head on the zombie of this construction project! It is vitally important and must be maintained or we have a rotting corpse of a mess! ... Tomorrow? Keen! Thank you, chum!"

Doozers worked for free, but The Tick now needed a way to pay for their travel. But he just might have a clever idea...

[This should have gone up BEFORE I went to sleep, but oh well. Also, apologies because I'm about to monopolize your flists.]

Aeryn knows this is a bad idea even as she's doing it. She should have called for backup, because she knows people that she could count on, but she's not expecting any sort of confrontation. This is just reconnaissance. So after leaving the gym, she makes one quick stop, then sets out into town.

Aeryn knows what sort of ship they would probably be using, and they would need somewhere that would give adequate cover. She heads towards the beach, walking along until she reaches the rocky bits. The Marauder isn't exactly hidden, but the terrain does help. It also gives Aeryn a good place to hide, crouching behind a larger rock so she can watch. Again, she knows she shouldn't. She should go to see the principal and figure out what her options are, but at the same time, it's too big a draw for her. The first time she met her mother she couldn't even tell anyone, and at times she'd thought she dreamt it. The second time, she'd had a pulse pistol held on her. It's such a difference that she wants to know, to really see Xhalax for herself.

[Locked to just a couple, please.]

Lana had actually always kind of liked Friday the 13ths. And today, after straightening things out with Jim last night, she was particularly happy. She still wasn't feeling great, but she was a lot better than she had been earlier in the week.

She called Marie about the party and then settled down to work.

Kaylee showed up at Empire Records after Constant Vigilance like she does every Friday. She was still doing her best to learn about earth music. Today's music choice? Classic rock.

She was standing behind the counter, ready to help anyone who might need it.

One section of the dance club has been decorated for Phoebe's party. There are snacks and drinks and, of course, cake.

Come in and celebrate, wish Phoebe a Happy Birthday, or just dance!

[OOC: Going up early because I have rehearsal. Come in and play. I should be home by 9 or 9:30 EST. I hope.]

GOB was bored. The bar was quiet. Almost... too quiet.

Now GOB was paranoid.

That's why he was drinking tonight.

[OOC: Hello, people! I am around tonight! And I am addicting to OOC exclamations! GOB was bored and left the bar. Mod Tino if you want service.]

Becky was lounging behind the desk, flipping through a magazine and occasionally marking pages.

The Sin was open like a thing that was wide open. (And yes, probably dirty, all things considered.)
