Logan surveyed the boxes of decorations and ornaments that the deliverymen had brought earlier. The tree was in the living room, eight feet tall and filling the house with the scent of pine. There were cookies on the coffee table and cider and eggnog in the fridge for anyone who got hungry, and Logan was hoping there'd be people to eat enough that he'd not be stuck with leftovers for weeks.

He set up his computer to play randomly from a flash drive devoted completely to storing Christmas and holiday music and opened the first box. Oooh, garlands!

[OOC: Post is open all day! Anyone's welcome, but if you're not a housemate, please ping in outside first. If you think you would've been invited, feel free to handwave. Same as what kind of decorations are in the boxes.]

Hanukkah themed Brunch! Hanukkah themed brunch for everyone!

Potato Pancakes and other foods cooked with olive oil were abound, which included scrambled eggs for those who were after more conventional, ethno-centric fair. You wimps.

There were also dreidel and gelt, for those who wanted to unleash their inner seven year old with toys and chocolate.

Alfred has no inner seven year old, of course. He just eats the chocolate straight.

Not that it would have been hard to notice a guy in red spandex carrying a large, clunky metal box through town while surrounded by a bunch of students, but weirder things had happened in this town, right? Right?

Fortunately, Conner had backtracked through all the back alleys last night on his way back from the reconaissance trip with Bridge, so he knew how to get to the right sewer grating with a minimum of fuss, but still. Bright red, and gold trim. Not exactly stealth gear, and whose idea had that been, anyway? (He so blamed Zordon, even though all he knew about the guy was from what Doctor Oliver had told him, and what he'd seen in the archive footage; maybe when you hadn't had a body for thousands of years, things like practical clothing didn't occur to you any more.)

When they reached the dead-end alley where he and Bridge had entered the sewers last night, Conner set the transporter device down and knelt to remove the manhole cover. "Here we go," he said, "and I swear, I am so paying for everybody's laundry afterward, too."

[OOC: For the townie participants to jump in, as well! OCD is up; chatroom is omgwtfcyberlizard.]

The twins were getting tired of these last few dull days of pre-finals. Hikaru had been studying their 'spies and spying' notes non-stop while Kaoru had focused more on his languages for tomorrow's presentation. Upon looking back on the semester, Hikaru was a little disappointed that it was coming to an end. He'd been really getting into the mechanics and practice of spying, especially lately with their visits to that castle.

But instead of studying, they were playing with the turkeys again. Their modified "Christmas Tanks" needed a few more adjustments before their maiden runs. So, after a few more turns of the screwdriver they sat at the front of the store across from eachother, turkeys poised ready to battle.

Sparky' is open~

After the last couple of days in Tortall, which had only been an afternoon Fandom-time, Kawalsky was in need of caffeine. The best place for caffeine was the Perk, so he was here ordering the biggest cup of coffee they had.

[OOC: Open for all your Perk needs. Thread with Aly is just for K and Aly.]

After enjoying a delightful lie in followed by a wonderful breakfast in bed as prepared by the bestest mate in all the world, Wilson and Phale had bundled up and with a kiss at the edge of the Park they had both headed off on seperate errands. Wilson headed down to the bench to wait for Marie, while Phale headed down in to town.

Settling down on the bench, Wilson leaned back and watched the winter sunlight as it danced across the pond, a goofy little smile on his face as he might have issued a small burp; a lingering after effect of breakfast.

[ooc: Open as a park tends to be!]

After seeing Wilson off at the edge of the park, Aziraphale walked down to the Perk and found himself a quiet table in the corner. With a cup of apple spice tea at hand, he spread a couple of books and a handful of papers out on the table and commenced to working on his class syllabus for next term.

[ooc: Open for all your Perky needs, or stop and chat with Aziraphale. Possible AFK mid-afternoon EST.]

Chrono couldn't help but scratch his head a bit. "Rosette, do I want to know why this habit has been cut up like this?"

From where she was stretched out in a pew, one arm drapped over her eyes, Rosette groaned. So...many...drinks last night. She shook her head lightly, avoided the question. "We should really get the ladders out and take all those foam arrows off the statues..."

Even just casting his eyes upward toward the statues made Chrono's neck and back ache. The thought of carrying the ladders, climbing them, reaching up to clean things reminded him of a much worse pain. He grunted. "Can't we leave them? They look, uhh...festive."

That didn't sound like Chrono at all. Frowning, Rosette clawed her hand on the back of the pew to help her up, and she looked at him. He turned his head toward her; blue eyes failed to meet red, because they met, instead, a strange wall between them that hadn't been there yesterday. Chrono turned away first, which eventually drew Rosette's eyes away.

"I'll go make some tea," he offered, heading for the basement.

"Yeah...tea," Rosette frowned at the floor. Maybe she'd just imagined it. Maybe it was just the hangover messing with her. "Tea's good."

Greg ambled into Caritas and settled himself behind the bar with a deck of cards.

He'd learned a few interesting tricks online, and thought that a slow shift at work might be the best place to hone his new magic skillz.

[Finals continue to eat my brain. Responses will be slow like slow things, and you're probably better off modding Tino As of tonight, Greg's fired anyway. :D Mod Tino, since that other guy isn't an employee anymore.]

Mazikeen was contemplating a shirtless half-priced drink night. Caritas might be on to something with mixing cheap alcohol with nudity.

After thinking about a few of the customers and the potential reaction of Lucifer, she nixed the idea. Clothing was good. Very, very good.

Especially on doctors.

The Devil's Nest was open for business!

[[open early because I am leaving for a movie around 7 central time and won't be back until later. Mod Mazikeen plz!]]
