Squishy Machine? Broken.
Apu? Still kinda upset about that.
The look on Apu's face when Cassie told him about her weekend? Priceless.

There were Squishy flavors over crushed ice again today: Red, Yellow, Black, and White. They are precious, in his sight.

All and Sundries is open.

It was a nice day for Teddy. He was himself again and most importantly, there was pie everywhere. A coil of copper wire suddenly turned into strawberry rhubarb and his notebook from superheroing turned into lemon meringue.

It was probably a good thing that neither Emo nor Goth turned into pie, they wouldn't have stood a chance of survival then.

"Mmmm, pie."

Ami got out of the taxi, backpack slung over her shoulder. IT had been a lovely weekend, with a trip to the movies, and the mall carousel and her father's new gallery opening. She had told her father about Fandom, and showed some of the pictures she took of the park and the sights.
She had intended to come back the previous night, but they stayed up too late talking. Now she had barely enough time to go back to her room for a quick shower and change before her class.

[ooc: Ami is walking through town to the dorms, if anyone cares. causeway and all that open to all]

Angela, and a turkey-and-swiss sandwich on a croissant, were comfortably ensconced at a table near the center of the room.

She eyed the salt and pepper shakers carefully. They had turned into matching banana and chocolate cream pies, and Angela wondered if they'd turn back if she took just a tiny bite.

[OOC: The bakery is open.]

Yitzhak was surlier than usual when he opened the diner today -- a closetful of new clothes wasn't enough to take the edge off the fact that the Mitchell kid had called in sick, or something, again.

. . . ignore the badly-drawn caricature attached to the dartboard behind the counter, please. And the slightly evil, "I've got a plan and it involves pain for you" look in his eye.

[OOC: *blows kisses at [livejournal.com profile] cameronmitchell* It might be better for you to mod an NPC server as my Gmail account has decided to eat absolutely everything sent to it today. Argh.]

Kaylee was in a good mood when she opened the store. She settled behind the counter with her Fairy Tales reading assignments and a book about engineering. If any customers stopped by, she would gladly put those aside.

Today she had pop music playing.

Jane was going to make a sign, stating that there would be free pie with drinks while supplies last.

But the sign itself turned into pie...

She is unable to tape up the Zombie band tonight as all of the tape has turned into pie. Which would make playing their instruments difficult for some, except the instruments have also turned into pie.

The zombies are now engaging in a rather disturbing pie-feeding frenzy.

That is, they're feeding on pie in a frenzy.

Not that they are feeding frenzied pie.

Come to think of it, "Frenzied Pie" would probably make a good band name.

Leo had finished going through the trunks and boxes. Most of the stuff he was going to put back up in the attic for the next guy to discover, along with some time capsule things the'd added himself. He loved attics.

However, One particular item was sitting on the counter, glowering at the world in general.

Since Sunday night had ended without a fault, Shuichi decided that it had counted as a definate 'win' and he was allowed to come back for his second day of work. However, his day hadn't started out as promising. He monetary situation was getting bleaker each day, and he was pretty sure that even with this job he wouldn't have nearly enough money to pay off the room he was already over-staying in.

So, despite the win, he totally failed at accomplishing his second, more important goal. A place to live.

The Devil's Nest is depressingly open.

[[ooc: again, AFK for an hour or two for dinner]]
[identity profile] badluckprodigy.livejournal.com
His shift at The Devils Nest had allowed Shuichi much too much time for thinking about his financial situation.

//"What am I going to dooo?"// Shuichi wailed, sitting on what he was now going to dub as his 'sob bench'. He wasn't quite in sob-mode yet, but he was getting there. Nothing particularly good had happened since he'd gotten here, except for the job, which felt like it was in constant danger due to his total lack of communicative skills.

//"I'll just sleep on this bench! That's it! Right here, until I can make enough money to find a place to stay!"// He stamped his foot on the bench after much brooding, shaking his fist at the sky as a cold wind swept past him. //"And some blankets..."// Shuichi shivered, wrapping his coat around himself tighter as he lay on the bench and rolled back and forth, singing a little song to the trees.
