...Like Rosette could sleep after all that. She'd given it an honest try, she was drained from summoning Chrono, but Rizelle's last words were echoing in her head and preventing her from sleeping. Not wanting to disturb anyone else who was camping out inside that night, she slipped out as quietly as she could and started wandering through the graveyard. She paused, leaning with an exhausted sigh against a tall headstone. Her eyes drifted for a moment toward the crypt with the side blown out of it from Chrono's escape and sighed again. She lowered her head as a hard lump formed in her throat, and she brought up her hand, unwraveled her fist and took the crumpled photograph clutched within. She turned, sniffing, smoothing it out on the hard surface of the headstone.

Damn it.

There was Joshua. The photograph looked like it had been taken without his knowledge, and he was definately older than when she last saw him. But it was definately him. Rizelle...knew Joshua. She said Rosette should better hurry, before it took over. What was it? WHAT WAS IT?

She dropped her head against the headstone, her arm settled between it and the photograph. She punched at it, as if stabbing, and let out a strangled gasp.

...Screw it. She was crying. She couldn't help it. Not this time...

Setsuna flew in from her DAMM exam, did...whatever it was she did with the Sorting Machine, fed Not-Tiddles, and then leaned on the counter in preparation for yet another thrilling, exciting day at the Post Office.

Xander might be on the phone, should people walk in; after all, it's proving to be a pretty long and oddly overcomplicated conversation:

"How should I know what Parker thinks she knows that you don't?"

"Why would you think I'm being taunty? Have you ever known me to be taunty?"

"Okay, aside from almost always, have you ever known me to be taunty?"

"Well, isn't it possible that I'm not so much withholding information as waiting for you to narrow down what the heck it is you want an update on?"

"Could we at least narrow the scope from 'everything' to some range where I don't have to take those kind of breaks that happen offscreen in family-friendly tv shows?"

"What do you mean I'm answering everything you say with a question?"

Or he might have hung up and just be wandering around behind the counter wearing an expression of Willow-inspired WTF.

Empire Records; Monday [04/23 ], noon to midnight.

After that sci-fi con that they had the concert at that weekend (which Chad was trying really hard to not think about the fact that it was Teal Dear's last, because that just made him sad, but it did get the wheels in his head turning), Chad spent the downtime on his shift today flipping through some comic books. Teddy was, like, in euphoria about all this stuff at the con, so he figured it wouldn't hurt to try to touch up on a little bit of it.

Today's music was a pretty generic classic rock mix.

Millie opened up the store and set out the drinks and treats for customers.  Then she opened the doors wide to let in the fresh air and conjured one of the comfy chairs out front so she could enjoy the beautiful weather while she waited for customers.

Magic Box - Monday

Giles was humming absently under his breath when he opened the Magic Box. When he realised he was humming Christmas Carols again, he muttered and went to the radio, flipping stations until he found one that seemed to be classic rock.

He never would have opened his door on Saturday if he had known the "Clauses" were going to ear worm him this badly.

The Magic Box was open.

It was another beautiful day. One which made Leo think it'd be a waste to spend indoors. So he was once more camped outside with a lawn chair and stereo, attempting to figure out one of the new fangled pieces of equipment. Today's toy is a digital cam-corder, and the fun effects you can use.

Lucifer was not behind the bar tonight. No, tonight it was Mazikeen's job to handle customers. She was less than thrilled.

Instead, he was sitting at the end of the bar, smoking a cigarette and being an annoyance to his ever lovely consort. It was a fun night.
