Finals? Were done and over with, so when Alphonse got himself settled in the usual spot behind the counter, he was left with an amazing amount of nothing to study. Which was fine, because now he could spend most of his time reading at his leisure.

It was the end of the week already.

The store was open for anyone with booky needs.

[ ooc: I am posting this with my mind in my sleep, because I am totally not awake at this hour. Honest! ]

Primed by years of habit, Alianne awoke at first light and rose to start her training.  It was odd that she was in a strange place, but a knight couldn't let that prevent her from staying sharp.  She threw on workout clothes and grabbed the sword she found at the back of the closet.  It was a good deal lighter than her sword, but it would do for now.

She jogged out into the street and continued jogging until she found a nice open place with space to move.  Raising the sword carefully, she began working through forms.  Many, many hours of practice both alone and with partners made her moves quick, graceful, and light even as she increased the strength behind them.

[OOC: And open.  Because it's a Park and...yeah, that joke fell flat before I could get it out]

After a quick handwavey visit to the store to pick up some towels and a scrubbing brush, Lana brought Panther!Jim to the pond to try and get rid of some of the glitter he'd managed to get all over him. She'd considered using the bathtub in the room, but figured she'd be cleaning up glitter and water for hours afterwards. Thus, the pond.

[OOC: Feel free to come help wash or get splashed by a very glittery panther! Or use this for any of your other Park-y needs.]

Setsuna was slightly distracted at work today as she had a few of the books she'd gotten from Alphonse at the bookshop earlier open and trying to get through a bit of them in between drinks or cleaning tasks. Half the stuff didn't even really make a lot of sense to her, and a lot of it made her just desire to bring her English dictionaries out again to help her.

So the occational distraction of a patron was actually welcome to help her brain rest a bit from the strain.

The Devil's Nest is open.

[[ and I actually have a social life tonight, go figure. So please mod Mazikeen unless you're in the mood for a serving of SP, of which I never, ever mind <3 ]]

After getting the note from Rosette, which he still hadn't read, Deadpool went to the church to check and...

Nothing. Empty. Nada. No weird little demon guys, no angry nuns, no guns.

Nothing.

She just left without saying anything?

Well, yeah. There was the note, but...

So, there was Deadpool, hiding sitting in the confessional, staring at the folded piece of paper. He should open it. Once he stopped being a wuss.

[[ooc: Establishy, but the church is open for anyone in the need for church related activities.]]

The streets in Fandom had been rather quiet today, the troopers seemed to have disappeared from view. If one were to pass along a certain stretch of beach, they might have noticed them disappearing into one of the caves. One after the other.

Tex and Appo stood at the entrance together with a squad of troopers that Appo had handpicked himself.

"And you'll keep an eye on Braca. Don't trust him," Tex summarised the discussion they'd just had.

"Understood, ma'am," the Sergeant acknowledged. "We'll hold the fort until you return."

Tex wasn't sure if she would be returning, but she nodded. "Better get to it, Sarge. You're with nine people to patrol town."

The troopers quickly snapped off a salute and headed back towards town. Tex watched after them for a moment, satisfied that they would do their job.

"Ma'am?" Appo urged after a while.

Whatever thoughts Tex might have had, they were pushed away as she turned to face Appo. "Let's go smack a bitch," she told him and headed for the teleporter that was tucked away deep in the cave. She didn't look back even as she felt the soft press of a wallet that wasn't hers against her side.

As soon as Appo and Tex stepped through, the teleporter that had brought Tex to Fandom disappeared.

GOB was lacking something in his life. Some excitement. Some drama. Some women in various states of undress.

Something needed to change. He was going to find himself a woman and get her drunk tonight.

That's when he noticed the Zombie Bass Player's zombie girlfriend making eye contact (with her remaining eye) and waving to him in a manner that - if her flesh weren't rotting - could have been cute.

GOB, being an experienced flirt, recognized the meaning behind that wave.

He didn't need a woman that bad. He did, however, need a drink. That's why he was drinking tonight.

[OOC: I'm around. Huzzah!]

Liz was still shaken from the events that had taken place earlier in the week but she still showed up for her shift at the post office. She was doing her best to focus on what she was doing and for the most part she was succeeding.

[ooc: wait for the OCD is up!]
