Tori opened up the store and put the tea and other refreshments out on the table for customers to enjoy, should they like something.

She grinned to herself, taking a seat at the counter. Tori thought about the summer plans she and Annette had talked about last night and couldn't help but get excited. It was going to be a great summer.

There was a small bit of twirling in Turtle & Canary today. The young proprietor was looking to have the best report card she'd had in years (how, she still had no clue) and the market was still on the rise. She was super-excited for next weekend; she had it worked out with her broker to sell a good majority of her stocks and put them toward a certain film distribution company for a certain opening next weekend and then sell, sell, sell after its spike and hel-loooo monies!

Today's Squishy Flavors: Capitalism, Socialism, Red.

Turtle & Canary is open!

With the end of another semester at hand, Fraser's taken time to actually relax. It doesn't come often so he likes to take advantage while he can.

It's cool currently not yet hot enough to make him uncomfortable so he's taken to sitting quietly on one of the park benches. There's a book open on his lap, a bookmark stuck under his leg and a Diefenbaker looking bored at his feet.

[Park is open!]

While Gladys was in the back doing Gladys-y things, Annette was busy in the front doing...post office-y things. Which could be debatable, really.

Currently she was sitting on top of the counter, cross legged, smirking and bitting her lip, and grinning, and making all kinds of oooh and ahhhh noises that she just couldn't help. Why? Well, Not Tiddles was highly amusing her this morning. Annette had come prepared to deal with the persnickety kitty today and brought with her a remote control mouse.

Not Tiddles was running helter skelter trying to catch it and Annette would zoom the mouse towards the kitty real quick, making her jump back and hiss, only to turn the mouse around and run. Not Tiddles accidentally ran into the wall once - not Annette's fault - but she only wobbled for a second or two before she was back at trying to catch her prey.

"Here kitty kitty kitty...hee hee hee...look, I'm standing still, come get me!" Annette mimicked a squeaky voice then shot the mouse forward across the room towards Not Tiddles. "Bam! Woohoo! Fifteen points for the paw!"

Chad was going to feel like an idiot if they still had cheerleading stuff even though school was technically out, because he, never quite sure how that sort of thing worked, just decided to take his whole long shift at Empire today. He missed long shifts on Wednesday. Hey, he liked his job. All he really did was hang around, listen to music, occationally help someone, and he was still finding little plastic dinosaurs all over the place.

He didn't remember there being so many.

...Maybe they were reproducing.

Giles had segued from researching the island into researching the gremlins. Fascinating creatures, really. He wondered idly if it would be possible to get a sample of their saliva to make a closer study of its hallucenigenic properties.

The Magic Box was open.

There was no more yodeling in the shop, which was good. Especially since yodeling was never something Teddy had wanted to hear. Ever.

Why couldn't they get those cute little penguins or bunnies back? That would have been better than yodeling.

It had been too long since Angela fully met her caffeine and chocolate needs, so she was at the Perk, nursing a large iced mocha with whipped cream and nibbling on a chocolate chip muffin.

It wasn't healthy, but it made her happy.

She had left a message for Bridge, but she wasn't really waiting for anything in particular. She was just enjoying a quiet moment before graduation -- or at least trying to.

The bus was parked outside the house, looking . . . resigned. If a bus could look resigned. Which, apparently, this one could. Ms Frizzle was bouncing more solemnly than usual down the walk to said bus, suitcases and boxes in hand.

"Farewell to Fandom Island, your crack-laced coast, let your plotty dark and emo be . . ."

[[The Friz is off to take chances! Make mistakes! And get messy! back in Walkerville. Say your goodbyes here. *sniffle*]]

Just before dusk, the temporary movie screen is set up. There's a large open area in front of it, where movie-goers can spread out blankets or set up lawn chairs. Some people are already gathered, picnicking while the sun sets.

[OOC: The movie begins at dusk, and the screen will be removed afterwards. OCD threads will be have been set up for your movie-going use. Anyone who needs the park for other purposes will find that the outdoor cinema takes up only a portion of the park, with plenty of space available for non-movie needs.]

After bullying Molly into getting up and getting dressed, the three girls walked down to town to enjoy the weather and find themselves mass quantities of ice cream.  Because it was, as Dawn said, an ancient Earth tradition.

Katara pushed open the door and held it for the other two.  "So what are we going to get?"

Rikku was on a lot of sugar. Rikku did not need a lot of sugar, as she had been perma-hyper for the last 24 hours solid. But this did not stop her. Mmmmm, doughnuts.

When she finally crashed from all the sugar and hyperness, she was going to need to sleep for a couple of days. She was hoping to time that for the ship ride back.

"Oh!" she said, poking Tidus in the arm a bit harder than she'd meant to. "Pops doesn't know you're coming back. I can't wait to see his face."

Jarod completely forgot it was Wednesday because he was so busy packing and getting ready to move. Or, really, to just give his things to someone--he hadn't figured out what to do with M yet, but it wasn't fair to her to make her homeless.

He ran in about an hour late, only to find that Tino and the zombies did fine without him.

Huh.
