The park was set up with a whole bunch of tables and a whole bunch of food. There was a banner reading
CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES!
WELCOME FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
EVIL MONSTERS, TROLLS, ALIENS, AND OTHER ASSORTED FIENDS NOT WELCOME!
GOOD MONSTERS, TROLLS, ALIENS, AND OTHER ASSORTED FRIENDS ARE WELCOME!

The Tick made that banner himself.

[OOC: Sorry for getting this up a little later than was ideal. Sleep won.]

Jim decided that he needed a job. Not a job where he did any real work, but one where he could just screw with people. He knew one store in town that fit the bill perfectly.

He walked over to OrangeShoeSevenAide to inquire about employment and found the door unlocked but the lights off. "Hello?" he asked. "Is anyone here?"

After deciding that nobody was going to answer, Jim turned on the lights and took a spot behind the counter. As far as he was concerned, he now worked here. He didn't think the owners would object. Or possibly even realize it.

OrangeShoeSevenAide was open.

Chris was only slightly wary of this whole 'family breakfast' thing. He knew it was a bad plan for Grams and Grandpa to be in the same place. And Mom was bringing Lindsey and would expect him and Wyatt to be nice. And Aunt Phoebe was bringing both of her boyfriends, which he could only imagine Grams and Grandpa would not be pleased about.

Hopefully the Perk would still be standing after this morning... which, given Fandom's track record lately... was probably even odds.

[ooc: Yes, there is going to be a dysfunctional Halliwell family breakfast at the Perk, but it's open for your own Perkly needs. Minor OCD to keep things neat.]

J,GOB - Sunday Brunch

Roy had had better weeks. Worse too. Three buildings had been reduced to rubble in one week. His first week at that. Sure, none of it was exactly his fault but he still felt that he'd missed something somewhere. He'd restarted his report to Central too many times by now until Ralph had entered his office, ready to take the morning shift.

Somehow that meeting had ended with Roy being told to get out of the office. He still wasn't sure exactly how that worked, but food seemed like a nice thing so he decided to check out the Sunday Brunch. Which was where he now could be found, writing in a black notebook in a quiet corner of the baker. There was a cup of coffee sitting beside him which the waitress made sure was always filled.

((Wait for OCD! OCD is up. Have at it!

ETA: This is not the big graduation brunch. That one will be set in the park.))

Jack was out walking.

He wasn't sure why he was awake when could have been snuggled up in bed with Sam, but here he was, walking past what was left of the school, down into town and out towards the ocean.

When he saw the figure standing out on the point, he wasn't surprised. Some things felt inevitable, and this was one of them.

"You're up early," he called as he approached.

Captain Jack glanced back over his shoulder. "Speak for yourself. I never went to bed."

[ooc: initial thread locked to Jack. Open after that if anyone wants to talk to the good Captain once young Jack is gone. Again, details of specifically who he is NFB, please, but calling him 'Uncle Jack' is fine.]

Angel had coffee, he had his dog, he'd made some handwavey phonecalls to let people know where to meet him -

If only he had music and rhythm. Then he could ask for nothing more.

Actually he was content with the whole coffee/dog/friends thing.

[ooc: If you think Angel called you, he did. Angel's here for his friends but feel free to use the Perk for your non-Angel Perky needs.]

GOB put up a Ladies Night banner. Drinks half off for the fairer sex and all that.

There were parents in town. Maybe some of those parents were hot moms. It was worth a shot.

[OOC: My head is itchy. It's not lice, though. It's just an itchy head. Why do I share this with you? Why not? Anyway, I'm around, and hopefully soon my head will not be itchy.]

Krycek had made it through the weekend without dying. That was good.

Now he was just waiting to see if he'd be leaving the island alive. Never mind that every instinct said he shouldn't be in the park at night, much less waiting for the man who'd killed him, but it kind of felt like something he had to do. Loose ends, and all that. Krycek snorted and eased back on the bench, looking up at the moon overhead; at least if he died again, Jake would know whom to have killed in return.

[OOC: For a certain murderer Assistant Director of the FBI, but open to all others after their thread.]

The Tick paused at the causeway, a very large backpack on his back. He turned around and took one long, final look at the school he had devoted the past two years of his life to.

He was going to miss it here. The students, the faculty, the stores, the people. And the dragons. They made this Sapphire Sentinel of Justice into something more than he was, a fuller person, now capable of more, understanding of more! For that, he would be forever indebted to them.

The Tick reached into his pocket and pulled out a PEZ dispenser, placing it on the ground in memory of one girl who would never know how much she alone had changed him. And then, with a deep breath, he clutched a wooden figure to his chest and marched forth across the causeway, towards Destiny.

[OOC: Establishy, not for interaction.

And so Tick leaves the island. There will be one more post tomorrow evening in his journal just to wrap things up in his story, but after that he is officially gone from the game.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this character so fun for me to play for the past two years. I wouldn't have gotten into the game without [livejournal.com profile] can_be_more pushing me to app The Tick as a Criminal Justice teacher, so having him leave is a big thing for me.

So long, big guy.]
