Millie opened up the book store, glad the alien attack hadn't been on the town. Now that was something she never would have predicted! She set out the tea and treats for any customers and flipped the sign to open.

Anakin was leaning against the shuttle sipping from a cup of coffee as he waited for Rory to arrive.

He kept glancing over at the name of the ship. It wasn't Imperial any longer. It needed to be called something other than Tydirium. He'd have to ask Luke for suggestions.

[OOC: For [livejournal.com profile] rory__gilmore, this is open.]

John was graduated! And? At Sparky's. Now he had to explain to Agatha that he was leaving in about a week to be with Rosette.

He'd better hide the sharp implements and deprogram the bots.

Tori was up pretty early, she knew that. The past few days had been quite an experience, what with the invasion and the school blowing up, among other things.

She was glad that the guys had gotten the chance to visit and see her graduate, though she wished that Shane and Hunter could've been there too. But she understood someone had to look after both academies.

Time had flown by, that was for sure. Tori was a little disheartened by the fact that the guys were leaving today. But it wasn't like she'd never see them again.

Feeling a little restless and bogged down by all those thoughts, Tori was out on the beach practicing some routines that she'd been teaching her students back home. Being down by the water and training, helped to comfort and calm her. It was when she felt most at peace.

[OOC: Open! For the Rangers, friends - anyone and everyone, who'd like to stop by!]

Annette needed the fresh morning air, she also needed to clear her thoughts and think about things that were stressing her out. See how she could work them out and lower the level of pressure she seemed to be under. It was personal really. School, home, her parents...other things that were staying on her mind and making her head hurt.

Instead of going for a run, she was walking, perhaps with a vigorous step as she listened to Metallica's Nothing Else Matters on her ipod.

It was going to be a long day.

Well. That whole school being blown up thing that certainly dashed Setsuna and Alphonse's plans for the weekend, and, come Monday, she was still rather mopey about the whole thing. To a point where she wasn't really paying attention to what she was doing, idly slipping letters and packages into the sorting machine. Perhaps too idly. There was almost a near-reprimand from Gladys when Setsuna almost put Not-Tiddles through it.

In retrospect, Setsuna rather felt like she'd almost done that with subconscious intent.

The Post Office is open!

[OOC: Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] dr_jwilsonmd for playing M's assistant for me. Posted in Townies because the defriending has already taken place, but not for interaction. Anyone who wanted to see M before she left can go to this post. As of Monday afternoon, M has officially left Fandom.]

Magic Box - Monday

Giles unlocked the door to the Magic Box and stepped inside, still musing on the events of the weekend. His initial reaction when he had heard that the school had blown up during graduation had been, "What, again?"

At least there hadn't been any giant snake demon involved this time. Aliens were a novel threat at least.

He shook his head wryly as he went through his opening procedures. It was probably a sad commentary on how jaded he'd become that he was now mentally rating attacks and apocolypses by how much origiinality they showed.

"I give it a seven out of ten," he muttered.

The Magic Box was open.

Jarod wasn't around, having taken the day off. This left Tino with the responsibility for the party that was taking place that evening.

He wasn't pleased, especially when the zombies decided to play their own unique version of Happy Birthday, involving stomping and clapping. In pink party hats, no less.

It was going to be a long night.

For the first time in a week, the Devil's Nest was open for business once again.

Lucifer supposed he ought to let his employees know that they weren't in fact out of a job, but that could wait. He was celebrating how his business trip had gone with a bottle of champagne. He might even be in a good enough mood to share the alcohol with his customers.

Might.
