After talking to Robin last night at the bar, Mary listened to the radio last night to hear more about the new temporary principal. She was really amused to hear that PDA had been banned and wondered how the new temporary principal would "enjoy" Sin City.

There was a note from River at the front desk which made Mary was eager to meet the new guest and see why she was so unhappy.

Charlie set things up for the day, then started doodling in her notebook re: three dates of the week. And how well they went. Maybe Turtle was right, maybe this was more complicated than it should be. In the meantime, she works on lyrics. Starting out easy, of course.

Turtle & Canary; Saturday [ 08/04 ]

Papers and folders and files were scattered over the front counter at Turtle & Canary; on occation, the Turtle that was lost among them would lean over with a sigh, closing her eyes and rubbing them with a thumb and forefinger. She would shake her head, lift her coffee cup for a sip, gag as she remembered how much she hated coffee, and then returned to the work. On top of a falling market...again, there had been an incident with a misplaced decimal that had left her banning Apu from the back room for at least a week.

This was not the day she was planning on having today at all.

Setsuna was a little bit calmer tonight. A little bit. A handwavey all-day call back home to Ojou-sama did wonders...until Elder Konoe would get the cell phone bill, at any rate.

Any particularly colourful or girly drinks were on special tonight, as a nod to the...assumed success of the girlkissy rebellion that she'd missed last night. Not that she had any interest at all in knowing how it really went, of course. None. None at all...

Caritas, Saturday Evening

Ellen had used some of the leftover melted chocolate gnomes to make chocolate milk in a nostalgia-induced pique, which she had then thoroughly enjoyed before opening the bar for the night.

Tino had a glass as well, but added a liberal dose of rum. Ellen was not impressed.
