A stage was set up with a screen showing a brick wall behind it, just to give it a real comedy club atmosphere. There was a drum set off to the side with a blonde woman ready to drum rimshots where appropriate.

Drax stepped up to the microphone looking as pleasant as ever as he glanced at his notecards. That is, he looked like he would kill the stage if he could figure out how he could make it feel pain. "Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the Fandom Comedy Festival. We have plenty of entertainment for you this afternoon to make sure that you laugh, chuckle, and guffaw... Guffaw? Who wrote this? Some of our students will be coming up here to show off their comedy stylings, and we'll be showing some other things that will make you smile." Drax was not smiling. "But just to start us off, here is a joke."

Drax glared at the notes. "I'm not going to tell a joke."

"TELL IT!" demanded a voice that sounded like a high pitched Jerry Seinfeld impersonator.

"No," Drax said. The voice didn't respond... yet.

After a morning of prowling around town seeking out handwavy occurances to see whether any of them were related, and the very bizarre encounter with Andrew, Aziraphale was starting to get the feeling that there was something more than random island weirdness going on.

He opened up the bookshop a little late, intending on using the next few hours to contemplate what bits of information he had gathered so far.

[ooc: I'm not around very reliably today, and Aziraphale is deeply distracted, so conversations will probably be very brief. Feel free to shop for books, however, as this is indeed a bookshop.]

River was feeding Mary the cat prawns. Said prawns had mysteriously disappreared behind Gunther's back in the kitchen. On the other hand Gunther had been busy with today's specials and had had no time at all to talk to River. He had himself to blame, really.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!
Today´s Specials

Roasted Prawns with Spinach Mashed Potatoes and Red Pepper Sauce
Skewers of Grilled Prawns with a Fresh Corn and Tomato Salad

Gabriel had bought a large box of donuts and was now slowly finishing it while lying on the altar, staring up at the ceiling. He just couldn't stop thinking about witch burnings and it made him smile.

D spent the morning sweeping off the porch and the front walk, T and Pon playing on the lawn, around his feet, and occasionally stopping to look up at D, as if telling him something silently.

There were also liberal breaks taken for tea and cookies. Mmmm, cookies. Feel free to approach whenever you please.

Well. Thus far, this island didn't seem like much, at least not to the small pixie who was taking inventory of it as she zipped along.

Tinker Bell - for that was her name - was making a grand tour of the park. And huffing to herself as she sailed along, because there are certain things that should be true in life. One of which was, if you drank poison for an idiotic man-boy, that he didn't pick the plain-faced English bint over you, who had put up with all of his stupid nonsense for years.

At least this island wasn't Neverland, Tink thought, as she began imagining increasingly creative ways to off one Wendy Darling, late of London, UK.

That would be why she didn't notice it when she flew straight into a tree.

GOB was not behind the bar. After receiving a voicemail the other night, he decided it would be best to hide in the backroom for his shift tonight. Even though he couldn't be hurt or anything in here, he just felt it would be safer for some reason.

He grabbed a bottle of scotch before he hid, though, both for something to drink and for a weapon.

[OOC: I will either be out or asleep most of the evening more than likely, so please mod Tino. GOB is hiding, so if you need to talk to him, um, try his voicemail?]

Aziraphale had actually gone by the club looking for Lucifer, but when he found the place closed and no one around except Musubi, he realized something must have happened to disrupt the usual schedule.

His first reaction was to flail a little and wonder where Lucifer had disappeared to, and why the usual bartender wasn't on duty.

But that wasn't really going to solve anything. So instead, Aziraphale opened the Nest himself, asking Musubi to take up duty at the bar and planning to spend most of the evening in a dark corner of the lounge, thinking.

Or, you know, fretting. As the angel was prone to do.
