Charlie might have been writing a very long scene where an evil witch is pushed over a cliff while thousands of villagers cheer. The idea of writing a burned-at-the-stake scenario is a little unnerving, so, cliff. The kittens are laaaazy today, but may wake up for visitors.

U2 is playing and Groovy Tunes is open.

Obviously, things would need to change. That's the first and foremost thought on Dolores Umbridge's mind this evening. With the new semester approaching and so many threats to her still around, things would definitely need to change.

The school was rebuilt, her position was secured and things would definitely need to change.

People would have to go. And if they refused, she would have to make them. That would be easy enough. They all seemed to doubt her power even with the displays she'd let them see.

Things would have to change. Dolores Umbridge would start these changes on Monday.

[And here's the first post for the last stand of Dolores Umbridge. This post is for the adults/teachers but there will be a thread for students to watch. OCD is going up and I am around but might be AFK for a short time to go to the grocery store. Thanks!]

The Cheerleader vs. Football Player Water Fight!

After lunch, the cheerleaders and flag football players assembled in the park for the crackiest coolest water fight ever.  There were a variety of super soakers, tiny hideable water guns, and some means of refilling.

When people seemed mostly there, John clapped his hands together and said a few words of encouragement, "Grab your guns and get with the soaking!"

[ooc: Yes, stealing outright.  Have no problem with this.  No rules, just right.  Wait for OCD is up! or Buffy will hurt me]

Gunther and the rest of the staff were thrilled to see that Mary was no longer a cat, but they were a little worried when Mary showed up with a bottle of scotch. No one knew about the message that upset her so much and Mary wasn't about to start talking.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!
Join us for afternoon tea.

[OOC: Open! Mary's human again, but she's going to be really upset and not entirely herself. ETA: What Mary says about her father is NFB, but everything else is okay.]

Alphonse had spent the majority of his day so far at the counter with a textbook spread open on one side of the desk top, a small pile of papers nearby it (and anyone who got a good look at them would notice there were some very detailed notes on it), and a notebook, which he was currently jotting down even more notes in.

Array theories-- they weren't necessarily something Alphonse needed to do, but he thought of it as good practice anyway. Rewriting the old, basic principles he knew since he was a kid, then moving up towards the more complex ones, along with some he only occasionally touched. Surrounded by the many, many books around him in the meantime, it felt calming, for him. It made it easier to do, and even more so because it never got incredibly busy around the store.

Even so, once in a while he'd perk up, watching the door for a minute or so to see if anyone did come in, then got back to writing and reading some more. The store was open for peoples' booky needs.

Sleeping at your desk with a chest injury was a bad idea. Sleeping with any injury was, but Roy had ended going into the station after the meeting and that was where he still was. In his defense, he'd been intending on staying awake.

He stared at the half finish report on what had happened on Thursday and rubbed at his eyes. It could wait. He needed to make sure Ralph knew what to do this evening and then he'd be able to head home and prepare for tonight himself.

((Open.))

Drax had gathered his few possessions (most of them sharp, pointy, and strapped to him), his plans for getting into space (breaking into the Fantastic Four's Baxter Building and seeing if he could steal a ship... it wasn't the best plan in the world, but it's not like there were that many places to get a good spaceship on Earth), and the Chaos Mite that he was reasonably sure would betray him at some point soon.

All in all, the odds of anything good coming of this were slim and he would probably be happier staying in Fandom. But still. This was for Cammi. He had to try to help, even if he wasn't going to admit that to anyone.

Drax took a single look back at where there was now something resembling a school. There was no emotion on his face, but he would remember this as one of the more pleasant points of his life. He turned back to Skreet and said, "Let's go."

As he walked across the causeway he smirked. He was probably walking into a trap of some sort and, really, Cammi was probably the one who set it. Little psycho brat.

[OOC: And Drax is gone.]

Gabriel had run out of coffee. This wasn't good.

[The church is open, but SP for me tonight..]

Setsuna found it difficult to wrap her mind around the fact that this might be her last time, ever, bartending. It seemed like some great intangible thing, and, really, perhaps it wasn't. Perhaps she might. It was unlikely that she would ever have a need to find a more...citizen job again, but there was comfort in the knowledge that she could.

And with that, Setsuna was offering half price on drinks she considered her specialties: anything fruity and, of course, the infamous alcoholic bubble tea drinks.

Well, infamous for her, anyway.

The Devil's Nest is open!
