The specials for today were omelette, bacon, mushroom and cheese, with a side of 'everything' bagels with chive cream cheese...

...being stabbed by little stick-figury guys in Spartan helmets and loinclothes with spears. It was all quite dramatic and bloody, but mostly somehow just plain shiny.

He probably shouldn't have stayed up last night watching that movie...

Robin was, if possible, bouncier than usual after hearing the radio broadcast, so as he went about his usual routine of opening the store, he put on some bouncy music.

Moist had a bad feeling about the day. He also had a huge pile of Umbridge's mail hidden in the belltower.

He always listened to his instincts, and today they were saying batten down the hatches (apparently, his instincts occasionally had a nautical bent) and have Gladys keep watch.

The Post Office is open and totally on time omg and not late at ALL, honest.

Leo had finally figured out how to use the microwave, and had used to prepare a large amount of mashed potatoes. Which he was now sculpting into various shapes. Behold! The Mashed Potato Leaning Tower of- *splut* dang.

Charlie had gone into town to get ice cream, in celebration of no-more-Umbridge, and had settled in on a park bench to enjoy her treat. She was leaving tomorrow for a week, and was trying to figure out what to do now that she'd finished packing.

Caritas - Sunday evening [Open]

Well, GOB was done teaching again. It felt good.

What also felt good was knowing that before long there would be new students at the school who could blow their allowances or whatever on booze.

As such he was trying to think of new theme nights to bring in business this fall. Tino nixed "Dress Like a Hooker Night" and "All Girls Go Home With GOB Night." Both of those, Tino felt, would be better served as regular Ladies Nights.

Out of Tino's suggestions, GOB approved "Catholic Schoolgirl Night," but scratched out "All Girls Go Home With Tino Night."

Tino then wrote down "All Girls Go Home With Tino Night," only in Spanish and told GOB that he had reconsidered and that it said "All Girls Go Home With GOB Night."

GOB was an idiot and believed this. That would, he felt, be the best night ever.

Sitting on a green and white striped blanket in her very modest and respectable swimsuit, Turtle kicked off her flipflops and dug her toes in the sand. They wiggled excitedly, but a little nervously, and she held up a hand as she turned her eyes up toward the clouded sky. Still warm, still some sun breaking through, so it was still okay swimming weather. Now all she needed was the boyfriend. Eeeee, boyfriend. The toes wiggled happily some more.
